I really like Greek styled pizzas and Pendeli's pizza has been doing it right for the last 30+ years!

Came here with some co-workers and we opted for a pair of pizzas (meat-lover & pepperoni/cheese). They were tasty, slightly greasy as you'd normally expect from a Greek styled pizza and the dough was just right. We didn't opt for the extra sauce and I felt that we should have, more sauce would have been a good thing!

ASK FOR EXTRA SAUCE!!!

Contrary to another review, this place isn't "a bit of a dive", it's awesome! It's your typical pizza joint with 'diner tables' and sections reserved for their stacked 10 foot high carton pizza boxes. What is most noticeable is the affection for Superman and Greece....

IT'S LITERALLY EVERYWHERE!!!!

Heck, there's even a Superman doll drinking coffee in a table booth!

This is a family run business, proud in what they are and what they do and that's a great thing. Service was very friendly, food was prepared quickly and we really enjoyed the service.

Price-tag is quite reasonable. Great value here folks.

All in all, a place I'd come back...

The pizza is just O.K. I don't understand all the reviews "Best Pizza!". If it were the best pizza, you'd see a line up and the resto would be nice and pleasant to eat there with friends and family. You want to see what "Best" looks like?...go to Mr. Puffs - the place is beautiful, clean and welcoming, and there's always a line up.

Pendeli's pizza is dry because they're cheap on sauce. And if you ask for extra sauce because it's dry, they charge you 2$ ! The dough feels like cartboard. I'm not saying it's bad but I'm not saying it's good. The topping is good, the dough is garbage. It's just ok if you're really really hungry and you have nothing to eat home and you don't feel like driving around for a pizza place. Frozen pizza like "Dr. Oetker's Ristorante" is much much much better than...

This was our family's favorite for 40 years. It must have new owners now.They used to cook high-quality Milano pepperoni on top of the pizza. It would be crispy and delicious!

The pizza we got last night was the absolute worst pizza I have ever eaten. Their signature pepperoni on top of cheese approach is gone. Now they use a low-quality bologna pepperoni that simply boils beneath the cheese. The crust did not rise and was similar to a very cheap frozen pizza. We threw it out

They used the same gross pepperoni on the subs we ordered which were dry and tasteless but not as bad...
