Galaxie Pizza — Restaurant in Laval (administrative region)

EDIT: unfortunately, my old review no longer rings true. Recently, my father went to pick up a pizza and it was cold yet the toppings were warm? It STANK of cooking oil, tasted FOUL, and would fall right off the pizza at the lightest touch. I have to deduce that they forgot to make my father's order, and when he came to pick up they scrambled to "make it" by grabbing an old cheese pizza (probably sitting around since the lunch rush) OR someone else's that never came to get it, "deep fried" the toppings and threw them on and called it a day. It was simply foul. I had one bite and was dying of reflux and nauseous as all hell. Went to seek a refund and the first gentleman was polite and understanding, the second however came out yelling and flat out refused to refund, instead insisted that it "looks like you ate, you're full, and want a refund now" which is absurd considering I eat here 2x a week - an extra large JUST TO MYSELF. Anyway, the closest we got to getting a refund was "use common sense, why come here and try and get a refund when you could just call and we'll make you a new one" Probably because:

1. some people me have to be at work, and don't have time to wait for a new one to eventually stumble through the door.
2. the first one was an abomination before i complained, what makes you think I'd trust you with the second one afterwards?
3. that's not how this works. If I go to any other establishment and a couple of bites in I find it inedible, to the point of getting sick even, I'd receive a refund in full. Not the man who I presume botched this meal coming out from the back to yell at me believing he's in the right. Last week I got violently ill shortly after eating from Galaxie as well, but I tossed it aside and said "it can't be from them, it must be X, Y, or Z that made me sick" Now, I'm not so sure that was the case...

Regardless, that wasn't even offered to me -the replacement- no, rather it was used as a sorry excuse to show what they could have done spoiler After my Facebook post MULTIPLE people have come forward saying they don't even honour the replacements so do with that info what you want.

Shame, I was really rooting for Galaxie. Truly. I told everyone they were the best. I was so so...

Never had any complains with this place for the last 4 years until recently I was told they had a special deal where if you buy a large pizza you get another one for free and the total was 41$, later I called him and confronted about the price because I usually get the A7 deal which is basically two large pizza with a family size poutine which comes out to be 48$ and he told me that the price is suitable for some customer but it might not be for me. Can someone please explain me how one pizza and a free pizza charge 41$ but if you get the normal deal with the poutine included you only pay 7 $ more.

Very disappointed because I was a regular customer but most likely won’t place an order anymore because I can’t trust place that make bogus prices and he had the audacity to say it’s in trend, doesn’t make sense. Not sure who I spoke to because it didn’t seem like the normal guy...

At first glance, Galaxie Pizza seems like a run-down 2-for-1 pizza place since it's located in a poorly maintained little strip mall with a patchwork parking lot. However, the service provided during my visit was excellent. I can't remember the last time I had such a pleasant and positive person serve me at a pizza place. Despite the outward appearance of the building being mediocre, the staff seem to put a lot of care into keeping the inside clean. As for the pizza, it was excellent. While a bit small for the price, everything about it was delicious; crust, sauce, cheese, toppings. I happened to visit around noon, and the nostalgia of having kids flood in from a nearby school was a nice experience. It's definitely worth considering for a quick...
