Friday night my friend and i went to your restaurant in the hopes of having a good time considering you have board games and animators, and we did have fun for the most part with the games, but i have to say that your service was awful. Not only did the waitress we had continue to repeat to us our orders, she still forgot and had to be reminded, and we waited a considerable amount of time for our drinks and food, despite it being friday night: 20 minutes for a vodka tonic, 30 minutes for french fries and spicy mayo sauce, 15 minutes for a pint of beer. Its ridiculous. Also, possibly why it took so long, i noticed on several occasions staff laughing among themselves and tables including my own looking for our servers because it had obviously been a long time since we were last seen. Next up is the main reason I'm no longer returning to Randolph's: my friend and i ordered a bowl of candy and realised we forgot to ask if it were possible for us to take it to go. Now i would've accepted the fact that due to your influx of clientele you would refuse because its not worth your time or whatever reason you may have, but to be told "sure thing!" and then wait an hour for a rolled up aluminum snake and no candy is a big smack in the face to your clients. I hope this is a wake-up call to not only your front-of-house staff and kitchen staff but also managers overseeing functions. I also hope my message gets through to someone competent enough to understand a paying client's frustrations. I wish to return to Randolph's one day in the hopes that my experience will...
Read moreWent there with my friends recently and our experience was unfortunately not the best. Upon arrival, we were sat at a table that we didnât really like and asked if it would be possible to be sat elsewhere. We did end up with a different table, however the attitude of the staff that came after that request was very unwelcoming and left a little bit of a bad impression. After settling in, one of the servers came up to us and she was great. Very friendly and made sure we got everything covered. The main issue was a lack of service from the animators. We barely got any interaction with them and for most of the evening our table was forgotten about. While the food was pretty good, I found the prices to be quite high. I had one meal (vegetarian nachos) and a sprite and the whole thing came to 50$ before tips. The space was also very loud in general but thatâs more of a side note to anyone wanting to go, just be mindful of that part. Overall the experience was not the best and considering the prices none of us will...
Read moreFood: great taste, fresh, and well prepared. The only negative is that they were missing most of the specials, like the bison, lamb and other dishes. So some options were slightly limited.
Atmosphere: great atmosphere. A lot less rowdy than in Montreal, which makes for a better game experience. The upstairs floor was great, decor was super warm and inviting. Parking is definitely an issue at Carefour Laval, and that is just something to expect.
Service: staff were super knowledgeable about the game, they really were able to find things that were tailored to our interests, so we appreciated that. While the service started strong, as the night went on, our server disappeared and we were often stuck with no drinks or food. It also took an hour to pay the bill. Water is self serve from a Gatorade jug, thought it was weird but ended up working out.
Clealiness: Overall quite clean.
Would definitely return. We were there for a corporate event, which is a fantastic way to celebrate...
