Unfortunately ordered the bruschetta and calamari as appetizers. Very little tomato on the bruschetta breads (which weren't even the proper bread to be used. They were basically mini Costco sandwich breads cut in half…). The calamari’s marinara sauce had a jalapeño in it and tasted more like a fake Mexican salsa… Then, we were served room temperature wine after receiving our pizzas (margarita and New York) and gnocchi (gorgonzola). Both pizzas were blackened on the bottom. The margarita pizza was literally a cheese pizza with sad little basil strips sprinkled on top… The New York pizza had bacon, supermarket pepperoni, and minced meat (none of which had anything to do with Italian food). The gnocchi sauce was way to reduced…) It took forever for the waiter… I had better water service in a desert. Whoever claims to be Italian and thinks this place is any good, they are a disgrace to the community.

Grand opening tonight was fantastic! The place is beautiful, really gave the old Flamberie a total make over! Trendy design and cozy atmosphere was just great! Food was delicious and served hot which is really nice for a change from the luke warm pasta dishes at many other places. Service was great too! Congratulations to the owners!

The service is nice and friendly. The food is good and not too oily. Inside the restaurant it can be loud. The parking is divided into to sections one in front The restaurant and the back of the restaurant pass the white fence

If there are few things Italians know - its the price gas and the price of pasta and the price of cheese.

Italian restaurants do not fare well in the Montreal area - because they want the prestige French restaurants get. ( They also don"t fare well.) They get cheap - really cheap.

Treat customers like when family comes over to the house for Sunday dinner.

Or we can start bringing in our own $2 dollar pasta box and you can add it to all our meals - Is the message clear enough !

Load the plates and make customers happy - left overs are taken home - customers come back.

Think about it - you want everyone stopping by for a nice full plate of pasta - charge what you charge but load the plate. Over load the plate even - get a big following- word of mouth spreads fast; good or bad.

So goes the cycle.

The local Chinese restaurant offers more noodles per plate - we go there once a...

If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Cornellis is the place to be! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a fantastic meal. But the real star here is the pizza – absolutely incredible. The crust is perfectly thin and crispy, with just the right amount of char, while the toppings are fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The mozzarella is rich and creamy, and the sauce has the perfect tang that keeps you coming back for more. Every bite is a masterpiece. Whether you’re a pizza connoisseur or just looking for a great meal, Cornellis will leave you wanting to return again and again....
