Visited Edo Japan in North Lethbridge for a quick lunch and walked away impressed! Right from the start, the place felt inviting—modern decor, spotless tables, and a comfortable, casual vibe that made it easy to settle in.

The staff here really stood out. Everyone was friendly and attentive, from the warm greeting at the counter to the efficient service when our food was brought out. Even during the busy lunch rush, they kept things moving smoothly and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed.

I tried the poke bowl and a beef rice bowl. Both were generously portioned—definitely enough to satisfy a good appetite. The poke bowl was vibrant and fresh, loaded with tender marinated fish, creamy avocado, crunchy cucumber, and a sprinkle of crispy onions for texture. UPDATE: The supervisor actually reached out to me upon inspecting their reviews and offered to give me a coupon for my awful experience; I know that may not seem like much to some people but I know it's A LOT more than anywhere else would even consider just from viewing their reviews. So props to them for genuinely caring about their customers! Could not be more surprised and wonderfully pleased with this.

Poor service and food is not fresh. The staff here is very rude, I waited like 10 minutes for the staff to finish their conversation, and when they decided to actually take my order it was very obvious that I had ruined their day by coming into their restaurant. When they did decide to finally take my order, the vegetables were not even close to fresh, all I could taste was salt.
