I've tried to establish a regular routine of coming here for lunch as it's close to work and they also expressed that staff at our workplace gets 10% off at this location. It's unfortunate that I have to write this review as I did try very hard to give them a chance. Several actually. Here are some of the issues I've come across at this location in the past month alone:
My girlfriend is vegetarian and bought a footlong veggie sub the other day. There was a big piece of steak attached to the side of it when she opened it up at home. Unfortunately this is not the only offense..a worker wore gloves and made someone's meat sub and proceeded to make her veggie sub with the same gloves on. When she nicely asked the person if they could change gloves, the person acted like they understood her and just kept on making the sub with the same gloves. She paid for it and didn't eat it because it was awkward and she didn't want to make them feel uncomfortable.
I have been coming here about 2-3, times a week. When the right worker is present, things tend to go well. I get my sub made, they include my 10% off and it keeps me coming back as a regular customer.
Went there today, the worker tried to make my wrap and couldn't close it. It ended up spilling everywhere (which is fine, it happens). But she the proceeded to put the paper wrapper in the toaster with the wrap to keep everything together. Imagine cooking the paper with food and thinking that's okay. And THEN...she continues to troubleshoot her problem with the other worker talking about what they should do with my wrap. One suggestion a worker made was to double wrap it with another tortilla. I expressed that I don't want my wrap like that, I want it made properly. Not with two wraps trying to contain a mess and cooked with paper on it. It was stressful. I just want the $10 wrap i paid for. Not a mess.
Yet again, I was let down recently. I went in, they recognised me and knew I was the guy who comes in every day and gets his 10% discount. But when I asked they refused to give me the discount. I expressed that I come several times every week, I pay with my 10% off card all the time. "Sorry sir, we cannot give you the discount unless you show the card."
Good bye to the sense of community, personability and mutual gain of having a reliable and satisfied customer base. Made me feel like a number rather than a person. They just sucked the motivation out of going there as a regular customer. There are better businesses to support in town. Thanks for the positive experiences as well but sorry too many negatives to justify spending...
ย ย ย Read moreVery unsatisfied, this is the second time I've been this location and the first time was amazing but this time it was very poorly managed, my sub was missing probably about half of the vegetables that were on the receipt and this was a mobile order. I did stand there for 10 minutes due to being early but did not rush the guy behind the counter who wasn't doing anything anyways when I walked in. There was no salt or pepper put on and so it was like eating a meat filled sauce sandwich with just a little bit of onion and a few olives. I have contacted the place twice and yet the manager has not been in, I was told that the manager would be in in the morning and so I've called in the morning and been told I will be contacted if they find anything on the camera that is wrong with the order but I highly doubt they will. Due to this poorly managed location and one that doesn't want to take responsibility. ย ย ย Read moreWent through the drive thru at this location (spent 45 minutes sitting trying to order), got 2 subs (one was right one was wrong) so I called to see what could be done about it. He told me I could either come back with the sandwich and get a new one or get a refund (but I had been out and it was 20 minutes away from my house, I wasn't driving all the way back) he told me I could get a free one at a later date. Then called me back and proceeded to tell me that my receipt wasn't in the system (I told him the price and what was on the order) so he continued to repeat this, not telling me what I was supposed to do about it. He hung up on me and told me to write a complaint online. To add to that the staff are NOT trained to do their job, as they were unable to, I paid extra for bottled drinks (when I wanted fountain drinks yet she didn't tell me that I paid for bottles until after I paid then didn't have what I wanted in a bottle) and they overall have just about the worse customer service I've ever seen.
