This was a night out with friends having a "going away party". After a day of packing and disturbing dust bunnies, we arrived and said we had a reservation. We were immediately dismissed by the hostesses, not a hi, hello, thanks for coming, and waited another 10 minutes for our table. Lucky for us, we had friendly, excellent customer service from Dylan. He recommended several items on the "Taste of Summer" menu. But when asked what his personal favourite was, he pointed out the Cowboy Steak Sandwich. One person ordered that, well done with gravy for the plank fries, and said it was delicious. I ordered the steak sandwich, medium rare, and it was excellent. Not too big a meal so I had room for dessert. Cooked perfect. The big, plank like fries were crispy on the outside and tender in the middle. I usually order a salad but glad I went with the fries and accompanied the meal with a cold Medicine Hat craft lager. (Another Dylan recommendation when asked about local craft beers) The meal and service was just right and made the night out perfect. The other guest at the table took Dylan's "Taste of Summer" recommendation and ordered the Orange Creamsicle Cheesecake. They also had the Chicken Bellagio with a side Caesar salad. They really enjoyed it, especially the creamy mash potatoes. Firestone has a varied menu so everyone can find something they'd enjoy eating. The prices are comparable with other restaurants, and you can expect a $50 bill+, with food, drink, and tip. Thanks, Dylan, for paying attention to the food allergies at the table and for taking our photo. Cheers!

I went to Firestone today with my bf, his sister in law and her daughter for lunch. My bfs sister in law was there before us and had ordered some drinks. When my bf and I arrived, we sat and waited for the waiter to come by and ask for our drink orders. He came by about 20-30 minutes after we were seated and handed us menus. When he came back to take our orders, my bf and I ordered our meals and drinks. The waiter apologized for not taking our drink orders when he came by the first time. We waited a long time for our food. Maybe 45 minutes to an hour. The food smelled good and looked good. My bf got a burger meal, the sister in law got a sandwich meal, and her daughter got a chicken strip kids meal. I ordered a BBQ COBB SALAD. In all honesty, all of our meals could have been made at home. However, my COBB SALAD was actually really tasty and fulfilling. I had to package up the rest to take home. All in all, it was okay. The final costs for our meals weren't too bad but a little pricey for the portions. We may return, but it's undecided at this point.

Hubby and I don't often go out and we have tried to change our restaurants now and again to try something new. However, we have realized that every time we try to we just come back to here! We have come to firestone quite often a few years now. We make it now our anniversary or our once in a blue moon date night choice and we never regret it! They always have something new on their feature menu which we love cause gives us something new to fall back on. But this time we both stuck to their small plate options. My hubby got their fish tacos and I grabbed their lettuce wrap and mmmmm!!! Thanks so much guys for always making your food so delicious and leaving us happy every time we come! Hands down the best restaurant! Oh yeah don't forget to check out their cake shop their mmmm!

This review isn’t about the food it’s about the horrid service. The food at Firestone always tastes excellent. However every time we have came here lately the service has been getting worse and worse. We got seated and it took 15 minutes even to be acknowledged by a server. Then she came we ordered our drinks and food, because we were already ready to order because we had 15 minutes to look over the menu before she acknowledged us. It then took 10 minutes to get our drinks. We the waited almost 50 minutes before our food came. The waitress never came to check on us until just before the food came, and never asked how it was or anything. She took another drink order and the drinks again took 10 plus minutes to arrive. The food was barely warm which is my only complaint about the food other than that it tasted good. If the waitress had bothered to come back and check we might have told her it wasn’t hot. We also didn’t want to say anything about the temperature of the food, because we waited the 50 minutes for the food we had and didn’t want to take the chance we would have to wait another 50 minutes for new food. I will say that one of the managers did give us free dessert. Which we did appreciate it’s just I don’t think enough was done because of how bad the service was. The desserts also took forever to come out, and it took forever to just get our bill, and then for someone to come with a machine so we could pay. I also would have said something before we left, but by this time we were there for well over 2 hours and we just wanted to get out of there. I understand that it was a Saturday night, but we have been there on Saturday nights that were way busier, and had way faster service. Tonight was really disappointing, and left a really bad impression on family we had with us that are from out of town. I really hope Firestone can up their game and get back to the great service they...

We to Firestone for my Mum's 75th Birthday Celebration. We reserved a Private Room because we expected 20 in our guest list Including Our Family That includes Mum. There is a Minimum for the private room (Plus a Minimum Gratuity as you get a Server dedicated to your party - who serves only your Party while you are there. - I think its quite reasonable as they do take Very good care of you)

The Food was good. The service was Excellent !

They even allow me to bring in my Rather large Air Purifier - for Environmental - Chemical Sensitivities. I have to wheel it through the Restaurant on a Luggage Cart along with Extension Cord. Depending on who's in our dinner party I've had to bring in Two of the Purifiers in the Past. They have been Extremely Accommodating, and Understanding ! (Something Sadly lacking in our society to astonishing degree)

We eaton in in the main restaurant area before too. That was too difficult for me. A shift in air current and a neighboring tables perfume or laundry additive or scented dryer sheets send me heading for the door. I "did" have a purifier with then too. But, it can't keep up with Constant Source of Contamination, only after the fact or preventative. However, with Staff at the restaurant Aware. They didn't bat an Eyelash at me in and out unpredictable, Nor at the Turbo fan cycling on and off under my chair or next to me as I kept turning them up and down. They simply explained to other patrons why I had them, with polite apologies for the noise. But never once came to me to say a word about it or Ask me to limit using them. Like I said, Very Understanding and Accommodating.

Whether in the Restaurant or in Private Room, Firestone is our Go To Restaurant. The Food is Great, the Service is Absolutely Excellent.

They take every possible step to make sure you have the...
