Really good Italian restaurant for the price. The Tuscan fries are really good. Parmesan isn't too over powering of smell or taste on the fries. Bread sticks are great too, crunchy but soft ON the inside, and the marinara sauce with it goes really well. The zucchini noodle chicken alfredo is flavourful, sauce is amazing, chicken is really tender and juicy. Only complaint I have is that the portion size is a little small for what you pay and isn't very filling on its own. Prosciutto arugula pizza is great, very different from other pizzas in Lethbridge. Crust is a little dry, but the pizza sauce, prosciutto, arugula, and balsamic vinegar makes up for that. Overall, great place for the price. For me, I would get an appetizer and a main as I can eat quite a bit. But for the price it doesn't bother me much. Both times I've gone service has been a little slow for the food, but they're still new so no big issue. Definitely will go back for a nice night out or just craving Italian.

Decided to treat ourselves to some pizza and gnocchi for dinner, asked for extra onions and cheese on the pizza and this pizza looks exactly the same from the last time I ordered, (without extra). Also ordered it all to go, which I stated very clearly, and they still tried to bring it to us as if we were staying. Don’t have a long drive home but both the pizza and pasta didn’t feel like they were even that hot when we first got it. Got home and everything was ice cold. Almost every time I come, I’m disappointed. Never going back to Via Cibo, way to expensive and a disgrace to Italian food! Next time you think, hey let’s try Via Cibo again, NOPE, turn around a get some McDonald’s instead. Probably way better anyways.

Food was pretty bland. Meh at best. I get it's street food and it's gotta appeal to a broader audience but I've had more flavorful Kraft Dinner. Nothing egregious, but definitely a let down given the price. EDIT: So, because we did a review, we got a free Gelato... And holy trucking ship balls. That flavour punched me in the face, and wouldn't let up. It's so sweet and peachy I thought maybe I bit into a southern woman's peach pie. I seriously expected to hear my grandma in the kitchen beating someone about the head with a rolling pin. "More peaches! More sugar! How dare you disappoint my Grandson!"

Ordered a brunch (eat in) on a Sunday. I ordered the Italian Eggs Benedict. We sat down and waitress brought our waters and my coffee. Food was brought in short time and was good although I noticed they’ve changed from homemade hash browns to frozen potato cubes. The homemade hash browns had red and green peppers chopped up in them with some onions. The potato cubes had very little in them. (Maybe a few onions?) They were definitely not homemade and were an average, at best. The Eggs Benny was good. Cooked nicely and were runny as I like them. However, the A/C is ALWAYS blowing too hard and is ALWAYS on, so the food has to be eaten quickly or it will get cold FAST. We ended up putting on our jackets. It’s was about 15-20* outside so not overly hot so not sure why the A/C has to be so cold or turned on at all? This should be about keeping your customers comfortable not about keeping your staff cool. Anyway, we ate with our jackets on. Never saw the waitress until the end of the meal when she asked how it tasted. No attempt at a coffee refill. She was literally absent until the end of the meal. I’m not tipping poor service. That’s just the way it works with me. Either show me you appreciate my business or I don’t show my appreciation.

Overall, I’ve eaten at Via Cibo many times and it’s ALWAYS cold in the summer. Turn off the A/C if it’s not hot outside. I’ve noticed a slow decline in the food and service of this place. Even when I’ve ordered and picked up, the chicken parmigiana is over cooked and the cheese is burnt. Has there been a change in ownership? I think I’ll stay away...

In post pandemic - business are getting back to normal and gratefully even some are getting busier. Owners of resteraunts are taking extra care in their customer service to make sure their customers feel like they are looked after. Not here at Cibo Lethbridge. The truth is the restraunt may be busy, however, the service is extremely poor. Managers that have no clear path or truthful answers when customers like ourselves wait over an hour after a skip the dishes “technical error” where we were not contacted of the cancellation at first and then only by telephoning in were told “you will have to deal with skip the dishes?” After they had already taken near $100 of payment. With some strong persuasion , the order we were told, would be on its way. That the information was visible to them but their “skip the dish laptop had glitches” the lack of enthusiasm or care, to remedy the situation was baffling. Nearly one hour later , after being promised the food would be expedited and on the way, another phone call was required. This time another excuse. The driver apparently was late and behind. It was comical. Food has yet to arrive 20 minutes later. Funny thing is, the drive would only be 7 minutes. With that , we won’t be ordering...

Simply Amazing!!! I must say that this location blows all others out of the water. The food was the same as I expected, but the staff were. BEYOND! I went in fairly late for dinner, about an hour before they closed and this place was hopping! There were tons of people and I could hear the Skip orders coming in like crazy. Not only did the staff in the kitchen keep their cool, the front end staff were still super friendly, very helpful and wanting to make a great experience for everyone. The manager on that night was high energy, friendly and bounced between the front and back helping out everywhere. I really want to shout out to the two younger staff that were on that night. Not only did they handle the rush at the front when I walked in, they were out in the seating area and ready to get ANYTHING for people as they needed it! They were helping customers, cleaning tables, checking food quality and running their butts off. Totally amazing to see! I KNOW I will be back the next time I am in Lethbridge. This team deserves all the...
