I have had several poor experiences with this location in the past couple years. Canada Day 2020 was the last straw. I will describe the food, but note that we did not eat it for safety reasons. As normal, the chicken was greasy. We normally have to put it in the oven when we get home. The gravy, which KFC usually has the best gravy hands down, was runny and had chunks of....... something. The girl who took my order seemed extremely angry that she was working. No welcome, please, thank you. She did not even give me a chance to add anything to my order before she demanded payment. Even though she was wearing a mask, her eyes showed tat she was either scowling or fighting a scowl. Now, the final piece that prevented us from eating. The man in the back who was preparing the food chose not to wear a mask or gloves. During COVID, this is a concern, especially when he was coughing over our food. I do not know if it was a sick cough, a dry cough or a reaction to the grease in the kitchen or anything, but, you do not EVER cough over food or food containers. Especially during COVID and you choose not to wear a mask. All the other staff were wearing gloves and masks, but this guy chose not to. The staff even saw me taking pictures and this did nothing to convince him to put on a mask, or even to hide away from the window. Read moreI am newbie online and since COVID-19 I have been using the internet regularily. I am a senior so I am naieve about security. I made the mistake of ordering from KFC Portal. After my order was placed there was no record, no print-out and no evidence of my order. Additionally, KFC has contracted-out their delivery to Skip-The-Dishes. Skip-The-Dishes has no mortar-and-brick location so finding my order that failed to be delivered was impossible. Plus none of the KFC locations here in Lethbridge were able to confirm I had even placed the order. Sure enough though my credit-card was charged. I was given excuse after excuse and told even it was Skip's responsiblity. I blame Skip for failing to deliver and being dishonest enough not to give me a refund for a meal that obviously was never delivered. Shame on both KFC and Skip. I will NOT recommend either of these business to family and friends. I further encourage no one to use the KFC Portal as no evidence of your transaction is given. I would have given less than one star if I could. Absolute 'either'-net nightmare so expect your cash to vanish into...
Read moreI ordered food through the KFC Canada website from this location for delivery to a hotel and I received my order but it was missing the beverage and dipping sauces I ordered and PAID for. I phoned in to talk to the store and they told me they won't send me the parts of my order that are missing because they use a third party delivery service(skip the dishes or door dash) they won't tell me who it was so I could contact them myself. KFC told me it's not worth it to them to send my missing beverage and sauces out to me. They said I could drive there and pick it up which I told her it defeats the point of deliver and that I'm at a hotel with no vehicle because my truck broke down. So otherwards they charged me for my beverage and sauces and won't send it to me. So they are allowing the delivery company to keep anything they want instead of delivering it. To me that is considered theft and obviously KFC is allowing them to steal from customers just because they are a third party delivery service.
