I cannot rave enough about how much we liked this place. We moved here last year and have been searching for freshly made donuts since. We tried several bakeries but found the fillings were not made in store (so overly sweet and lacking actual flavour). Well LNCC. knocked it out of the park. The lemon curd actually tastes like fresh lemon, the Boston cream actually tastes like chocolate, and the apple fritter has chunks of apple. The donuts are fresh made every Friday morning. They are smaller than most fast food (a little bigger McDonald’s) but very well priced at $2.50, it is hard to have just one. The coffee is grown on the family farm and has a bright, slightly tart flavour but a nice smooth finish.
The atmosphere is bright and colourful, with beautiful local art tastefully decorating the walls. The owner, Dylan was quiet at first but once we explained that we are newish to Lethbridge, started talking about the family business with such pride and joy. Afterwards he brought our coffee to our table and invited us back for brunch tomorrow. On our way out we got to meet more of the family, who were equally pleasant and kind. Absolute knockout of a place that everyone...
Read moreTLDR: this is a great coffee shop, they are a breakfast restaurant ONLY on Saturdays (for now). Their breakfast is top notch and amazingly priced and portioned. Limited seating so you may have to wait.
Best Nicaraguan breakfast around! Amazing coffee, their brunch is only open on Saturdays (for now), amazing fresh food, the portions are QUITE plentiful. I particularly enjoy the fried cheese. 10/10 would go again.
Update 1 Year later: My partner and I regularly go here for breakfast/brunch almost every weekend for the last year. This place is STILL amazing, they've added a few items to the menu which are great. The quality is still top notch and portions are great, there was a price reorganization of some menu items but I don't mind in the slightest, I personally think they should be charging more, I don't want them to go under or anything. I still recommend this place 11/10
Update 2 Years later: My wife and I still enjoy going here as much as we can on Saturdays, the food has been consistent and amazing. I just love the vibe and the family atmosphere. They do an amazing job with their coffee and their food. I still very much recommend...
Read moreStopped by Little Nicaragua Coffee in Lethbridge and was instantly charmed by the bright, welcoming atmosphere and spotless space-a perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Both the matcha latte and regular latte were beautifully crafted, each with impressive latte art and a rich, smooth flavor that really stood out. The highlight, though, was the tres leches cake: decadently moist, topped with a generous layer of whipped cream and drizzled with caramel, it tasted just as amazing as it looked. Prices were reasonable for the quality and presentation, making this a spot I’d highly recommend for anyone craving excellent coffee and a truly...
