Ordered through Skip.
Paid ~$40 for two clubhouses, one with poutine. The first bite of my sandwich was a salty, tendon filled bite of chicken. The sandwiches look like they were very haphazardly assembled, the poutine looks like 1 hour old fries with a few pieces of cheese (supposedly a $4 extra touch).
Value: not happy at all, feels like we paid a premium price for a subpar (cold) product. At least at McDonalds the food would have been warm.
Taste: super loaded with salt, and very soggy sandwich, the fries taste and look stale and old and were ice cold on arrival. As a former short order cook I’ve learned to recognize hour old fries when I see (and taste) them.
Speed of Delivery: Fast. I was happy with the speed the order was delivered, to be fair the distance the order travelled was about 5 blocks in total.
This was the first, and last, time I order here. If you’re going to charge restaurant prices, try to make sure you’re not giving Burger...
Read moreThe first time I went to mojos was shortly after I had moved to lethbridge, it was a great place to meet my family for a meal with my favorite menu items being the California burger (no longer available 😣) which had a juicy burger patty, goat cheese, garlic aioli, avocado and tomato as well as their world class spinach dip, guaranteed to win half a dozen hearts.
Unfortunately my most recent visits have left me less than satisfied as the California burger has been taken off of the menu, and my past two meals here have been extremely disappointing. The chicken wings I had were the most fatty greasy wings I’ve eaten from a place that wasn’t a pizza joint, and the carrots and celery on the side were clearly wilted and shriveled. I wish I had a photo to share of the side veggies…
Overall I love the wait staff they are all awesome! But I want to see more of the quality foodstuffs I remember from...
Read moreI have always liked Mojos. Food and service have always been good. We came here last night and had the nachos with chicken. Well, we had difficulty finding the chicken, although we did find a few pieces. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the server, who was excellent by the way and even said I would be back. Well today I came in for a Ukrainian hot dog advertised as bacon wrapped with onions, sauerkraut, bacon bits and cheese sauce. I sent it back. I rarely send anything back but the cheese sauce was unbearable. It was all flour and no cheese. I asked them for a hot dog without the cheese sauce. When the second hot dog arrived I couldn’t help but notice it was not bacon wrapped and pointed this out to the server, who was excellent. Come on Mojo’s, at least serve what you have listed on the menu. I know I will return to Mojo’s but...
