Starbucks — Restaurant in Lethbridge

This place is usually my go to because it’s in my way to work, and the west side location is the worst place in history. However this place is increasingly getting worse. Often rude employees at the window, inside I’ve been ignored for 15 minutes. I am not even exaggerating. And on top of that the wait times have become as bad as the west side location. I do not understand why, maybe understaffed? Regardless for the past 5/6 times I’ve been here I’ve been stuck in the drive thru for at least 15 minutes. And like I said the one time I went inside to avoid waiting forever for one piece of banana bread, I had staff look at me but turn away when I made eye contact or attempted to talk. I was not helped until the entire drive thru had cleared and it was the drive thru guy that came to help me. None of the 3 other women who weee making drinks 7 ft in front of me. Usually the service is good, they have two young guys who work window that are great. Food of course is good but what’s with these wait times? How can this be fixed? Went there around 8:05pm on Monday, my mom clearly said 2 drinks, I even heard the girl repeat it. The girl taking our order was blond and a bit bigger and was being very rushy almost, despite being not too busy. She made the first drink and we stood there for about another 3 minutes or so before the guy working the drive thru asked us if we’re waiting for anything else. We told him we had another drink and he looked over yo the other girl and she shrugged and said I don’t think I got it, I just charged for one. My mom already being tired and fed up after a long day told him it was okay and we were already waiting for long enough. So we just walked out, with the only drink we got being mainly ice. Girl could’ve been nicer and more attentive, she knew we were talking about two drinks two. She should’ve reread us what we ordered before we paid, even tipped her 2$. Starbuck's is great but you will definitely be back because of the amazing nice friendly staff. They are open today February 27 2020 their first day. This store have a great team ready to serve Lethbridge south. The inside of the new store looks amazingly beautiful. They have lots of tables and chairs. They even have a bar like area for single people to sit at with high chairs if you like to let your feet hang. There is very big nice pictures on the walls with two very big bathrooms that are for sure both wheelchair accessible. They also have out door seating area. So your going be able to have a nice time out side enjoying your drinks. They also have the best newest equipment to be able to serve drive thur fast. They have a reverse osmosis water filter system for the very best water also. Yesterday they were calibrating the new firey red Cappuccino machines and it smelled amazing inside!!
