The Legendary Wing King — Restaurant in Lethbridge

20170822 After moved to the City of Lethbridge, our first lunch was at The Legendary Wing King.  The Legendary Wing King is a super small store, sells Chicken Wings and some other snacks, which is located on Mayor Magrath Dr. Lethbridge. The store is very small, so I highly suggest people order the food and take to go. The environment is very cute and clean. You can read the menu on the wall. The servers are friendly and helpful.  This place is famous for its Chicken Wings. Their chicken wings are very fresh. There are two different types of wings wet and dry with lots of flavours. In addition, you can also get some sides with the wings, such as sweet potato fries, 3 cheese perogies, chili garlic tater bites, nacho cheese stix, and etc.  Besides that, this place also sells a different kind of ICE Creams. We went to The Legendary Wing King around lunch time.   We've ordered 1 pound each Honey Garlic and Sweet Chili Heat wet chicken wings. The Chicken Wings came 20mins after the ordered. The Honey Garlic wings taste as normal but fresh. The Sweet Chili Heat wings are super awesome. They tasted a little bit sweet and spicy. I love the sweet chili heat flavour so much. The prices of wings are a little bit expensive: 1/2 pound $8.99 with fries, 1 pound $12.99 add fries for $1.89, 1.5 pounds $17.99  .... The more you buy, the cheap prices that you can get. Edit—— RESTAURANT IS UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP!!!!!!! This place HAS been my go to place for wing new owners have taken over mid August and i have ordered a few time and have been disappointed greatly my wings use to come covered in scauce and sesoning with out even having to ask as well be crispy well i have had to ask for extra scause and seasoning well even then it dosent seam any different or even have any extra on them. Ive had to go back and ask for more. I also find you are getting less wings for what you paid for........weighed mine and was 330g not 355g and i know its pre cooked but they dont lose that much weight during cooking. really sad how the quility has gone down was and has been my favourite in town :( (old edit) this has been My absolute go to in town for wings have the best variety for their wings then any restaurant in town! Always super juicy inside and crisp on the outside! They have a ton of options to pick from. They offer delivery and pick up so where ever you are in town you can get them!!! So worth it my go too's are the maple baccon bbq ( has sliced up bacon on top) and salt and vinegar...

so this is my second review of wing king since new ownership has taken over. They are my go to place for wings in Lethbridge. They are always super juicy and have such a nice crispy coating! My go to is the salt and vinegar (dry) and maple bacon bbq (wet) with The deep fried dill pickles as a side. They have made aesthetic changes to their menu as well as adding some new things such as tofu and the tornado potatoes that you can get in any dry seasoning i have only see them one other place and that was in Richmond BC. I have tried the potatoes and quite enjoyed the maple bacon bbq (dry) salt and vinegar and dill pickle and enjoyed mine! My wife found the garlic parmesan over seasoned when she had it but loves the chicken strips. They have been under new ownership operations since summer 2018. At first when they took over their was some hick ups on quality of wings from seasoning but they listen to their customers just as before new ones took over and stepped up their game and deliver...
