Ordered from here for a group of 7. Ordered two pizzas I have to admit the meat lovers was decent. However, the Gluten free pepperoni pizza was awful crust was maybe a centimetre thick in it's most generous part, very dry and just overall not very enjoyable. Now...as someone who's lived in NS my whole life I can say I know my Donaire sauce, what I was given is not what I'd consider Donaire sauce. It was essentially whipped cream with a garlic-ish taste with a nice extra charge of around $3+ it was very disappointing to waste all of it as not one of us enjoyed it. We were told they had a debit machine on delivery, they do not do that caused a scramble to try and find cash, why lie? After the entire experience we call the restaurant to complain hoping for some type of retribution but no this "manager" was so rude absolutely unprofessional on the phone and offered to wave the delivery fee if we PAID for another pizza this was the only resolution he'd offer. I wasn't even the one talking to him but I could hear him yelling through the phone as soon as he knew it was a complaint. What an awful experience, do not recommend.

I wasn’t going to complain the first time I got a freezer burnt/basically rotten donair in June but we decided to give another chance and ended up waiting 1 hour and 43 minutes for food, and spent over $70 after the crazy wait and when I called there was no care to even really apologize it was just that “we got really busy”… I will post some pictures below of the “donair” with disgusting grey meat.

Restaurant style pizza and alcoholic beverages? That’s MY kinda place! And what a great place it is! We came to Liverpool to see a show at the Astor Theatre and thought this place would be a great spot to try before the show! So glad we did! Pizza was delicious as was the panzerotti and garlic fingers. Great drinks and a nice, laid back vibe and friendly service! We’ll be back!

Update: things are improving whichIm happy to report. So my 1 star gets bumped to 3. I look forward to moving it all the way to 5 starts!!

We’ve been loyal customers of Liverpool Pizzeria for 20+ years. I love that someone made the investment to purchase this business & continue its tradition here in Liverpool. With that said, I’ve made my last order there. Call to order for pick up, told it will be 45 minutes (which is fine) yet it takes an additional 45-60 minutes minimum. This has happened several times. I could deal with this, but this evening I witnessed one of the new owners berate a customer because he had made his sub incorrectly 2-3 times!! This is not the customer’s fault, yet that customer was yelled at and disrespected to the point, had I not been there to witness, I would have never believed it. I felt terrible for the waitress who was working out front, she was mortified, I cannot blame her & in all honesty would not have blamed her for quitting on the spot. I would love nothing more to see this place return to its former glory. But for now it is 1...

When we placed our order, we weren’t told there would be a $6 delivery charge. Should also note, I wanted a Caesar salad, and they responded with they aren’t selling salads because of Covid and said would you like chicken wings instead. 😂 We were told it would be about a 45 minute wait… so we waited. Over an hour later, we received a phone call asking for our credit card number again as they didn’t charge the right amount before. So we asked more questions, including where our order was. They said it would be another 20 minutes, and when we expressed our unhappiness, the person on the phone (the new owner) laughed at us. Luckily, he gave the phone to the manager who was able to turn things around. So our meal arrived 1 hour and 33 minutes after we ordered it. Although it was a little overdone, it still tasted good like we remember from years ago. Not sure if we are going to come back. Props for the manager apologizing for the delay and things that happened. Do not use the text messaging service, as it was terrible. (Used it when I couldn’t get through on their...
