LePanda Dumpling — Restaurant in Longueuil

The dumpling options are somewhat limited, especially for a restaurant with "dumpling" in it's name. They only have like 10 options, of which about 4 contain pork, and 2 or 3 contain beef. However, the chicken curry, vegetarian, and egg with chive, are all very good.

Pad thai is gooD Could have a bit more vegetables and like 25% more noodles. Prices are fair value for the quality and quantity.

Also, don't be fooled by what they call "spring rolls", because they are fried. These are actually imperial rolls. Spring rolls are wrapped in a rice sheet and not fried.

The young woman at the cash has a great attitude and is a natural for working with the public. Speaks multiple languages, friendly, and able to think critically to resolve issues.

Most of the take out containers are recyclable plastic which better than styrofoam, but switching to aluminum or a compostable fiber would probably be better. Obviously the cost is different though.

At least they close at around 9:00PM-9:30PM which is reasonable. Some restaurants close at 8:00 AND miss out on...

I really enjoyed the combination of the soft and chewy dumpling skin with the juicy and tender meat that was inside. The dumplings were pretty flavourful and their homemade sauces did complement them pretty well. I do have to say that I really like how they offer a couple of choices for sauces, it makes the meal more fun while trying different combinations of flavours. The only thing I didn't enjoy as much was their sour soup chicken dumpling. The soup was too sour for me personally, I don't really know what I was expecting when I ordered it but it was definitely not the item...

Due to mixed reviews here, we still decided to go try it since it was only a 10mins drive. Unfortunately the 1-star reviews are 100% correct without even eating the food. Once we got there, it was dirty (pieces of meat on floor, sticky tables, menus given in binder was dusty/gross) that my partner and I both sat down and got up almost right away of how disgusted we were. I lied to the waiter saying we had to really leave for something..hopefully the owners/staff see this and either choose to close or...
