Messina — Restaurant in Longueuil

Très mauvais restaurant! HORRIBLE. MAUVAIS SERVICE et nourritures médiocres avec aliments de qualité inférieure. Don’t ever go to this restaurant. REALLY BAD We were two and it took for ever to get our food. Took us 2h45. The manager apologized by saying it’s like that on Saturday nights. I order a drink and they messed it up. Instead of taking it back and fixing it... they just brought a glass of strawberry slush and added it to my drink in front of me. Food was horrible. The salad was rotten. The manager admitted it was bad. Pasta wasn’t the best. Not worthy of an Italian restaurant. I ordered apple crumble and my cake was frozen. The waiter only said “Désolé, ça m’a échappé”. He just put it in the microwave and brought the same slice back.

Manager was cleaning our table and he took out his gum from his mouth in front of us and put it in the milk pot before throwing it out.

Wow....where do i Start. I am an international Chef, i was visiting Montreal this weekend and my friend was having a function ( a private event) at the Messina. This Was the worst service....A server by the name of Gabriellle was so disrespectful..the way she was addressing the guest was not acceptable. When we asked for a manager to report....well she was the manager of the restaurant. Made it worst. After we complain she was laughing right there in front us. They are racist. We were about 40 and had 1 server.. ( the server was good.. poor guy was working by himself while the other workers were just relaxing downstairs) We were all young and mature professionals.. The Manager Gabrielle made a mistakes and accused one person didnt pay when the person was the first person to pay the bill. This is unacceptable. I will never come back and will also tell other people and use my platform as well. The steak was...

This place was a complete letdown.

The menu outside didn't match what we got inside—about half the options were missing. Total bait and switch.

The atmosphere was just odd. It felt like sitting in a random, uncomfortable living room, surrounded by strangers in awkward silence.

The service? Terrible. Our waiter was straight-up rude and treated our group of six like we didn’t have a clue.

As for the food, it was mediocre at best. Honestly, it had that frozen, straight-out-of-a-box vibe—like something Gordon Ramsay would tear apart on Kitchen Nightmares.

Bottom line: We’re never going back. Do yourself a favor and...
