Notre-Boeuf-De-Grâce — Restaurant in Longueuil

Such a shame! Walked in and was addressed by an individual who had zero clue on the reservation that was made over a week ago! Sat down by another staff member, she was great and had a great attitude. She came back and ordered our drinks..drinks took 30 minutes to make and arrive. Ordered our food whilst our drinks were set on the table. Took over an HOUR to get chicken wings and nuggets on the table..! Chicken wings were great, nuggets were dry. We ordered Mac and cheese (was tasteless), immaculate burger which was dry and the only saving grace was the fried egg, and the blue cheese fried burger (basically a blue cheese burger as that's ALL you could taste). The regular fries were okay, the jerk fries were NOT worth it. Tatter tots were good too. No staff checked in once, we had grab different staff for small things like extra plates for our wings, take out boxes, the bill etc. I got the bill at 20.17, and was told by the waitress that she would be back. I didn't end up paying until 20.27! Some staff were friendly and positive, some where half asleep. There was no one in charge or managing the floor as it wasn't busy but chaotic and terrible service!

I went for lunch today with a friend. The restaurant is very nice and the food is great. However, the service was the worst I've ever had in my life! I asked our server if they had diet coke in a bottle and she said yes. She came with our food followed by another young woman with a glass full of ice cubes and a can of diet coke. I refused the can and they were pissed. The second woman came back and offered to refill our glasses of water. In the process of refilling mine, she purposely spilled water all over our table. During our meal, the young women were talking to each other and kept glancing at us and laughing. At one point, one of them was playing with a phone. I'm glad our plates were served before the diet coke can debacle because with that kind of attitude, I wouldn't have trusted them to not spit in my food. If I had been their boss, I would have fired them on the spot. It's the first time that I don't leave a tip. We even went to the shop next door for coffee and we gave our server there the tip the others would have had. Suffice it to say, we are not going there...

this is the 2nd time I go there for lunch. I'm a burger 🍔 fan, so I definitely had to try it out. What a deception. The first time I went, the burger buns were served cold and the beef patty was overcooked. But, I had to give it a second shot. So I tried the "Il Pizzolitto" a 6oz beef patty, grilled capicollo, mozzarella fior di latte, balsamic tossed arugula, tomato and basil mayo... This time the buns were warm, the beef patty was cooked to perfection (medium) but it was.... tasteless! No salt? No pepper? No spice? ok... do you ground your own meat? No signature taste? 🤔 And the mozzarella was.... too cold... the cheese should be served at the same temp as the meat, they should be "married" together. If there was basil in the mayo, I must have missed it! Took the poutine instead of the French fries and that saved the lunch. Really great taste, right temp, perfect quantity of cheese and sauce. Service was slow despite that the place was 2/3 empty at lunch on a Friday. For a $20+ burger, it was very...
