Very rude staff… I ordered a macchiato & almond croissant but unfortunately the coffee cup fell and spilled on the tray. First of all, it wasn’t even a proper coffee cup, it was a glass cup you would use to drink water. when i asked about it, one of them replied, it’s cuz we’ve run out of coffee cups. Anyways, i asked a curley haired mulatto staff if I could get another coffee, even a normal one, not a macchiato or if I could get another with a discount and she went on a rant of lecturing me that it’s not in their policy to refill and that i should’ve been more careful and that my bad luck is none of her concern. I told her that being this cheap is unprofessional; that kindness towards people is always rewarded and that I’m a regular customer. I told her that I will be coming back a lot in the future to compensate for my mistake of spilling the cup. At my great surprise mrs. Karen continued with her arrogant attitude and told me that she can’t do anything to help me and that i need to buy another 5$ macchiato. So at that moment i left the coffee shop and didn’t even bother to grab my croissant. I’m uploading a picture of my tray and thanks to the well behaved staff working there, my encounter that day will be immortalized for a long time on google reviews Never ever coming back to this...

I went last week and bought 2 croissants amende chocolat. When I arrived at work I opened my bag ready to eat , disappointed, It was only filled with almonds. I called the shop , and told them My disappointment. The girl was very nice and apologized and told me when I pass by again to mention Annie and she would take car of it. This morning ( Friday) I stopped by I ordered a latte, and mentioned to the girl what had happened earlier this week, she obviously did not believe me even after I mentioned Annie and showed her a picture of my croissants with the shop bag. She was very condescending and started talking very loudly saying it’s impossible and asked me if I still had the invoice.??? Really!!! Wow, I am new in that neighborhood, and at first I thought what a nice little place. Well I have news for you, for 2 croissants, you just lost a lifetime client. I will never again set foot there again! I looked at some posts and I’m not the only one that feels like employees there are not...

Got a raspberry mille feuilles...wanted to taste and see if I can get a birthday cake...

Expectation: mix texture of light vanilla custard, crispy with butter smell and a slight touch of fresh raspberry jam...

Reality: over thick burnt pastry, solid custard, cream and jam with only sweetness from sugar...the only good is the pastry was still crunchy the next day (burnt bitterness stays)

Side story: I got in 20minutes before closing and one of the girls was rushing to get off work. So, 2 girls left me hanging in front of the counter for 8mins without a greeting (I was calm and even smiled to them to catch their attention, but failed, I was transparent). Finally, the other girl came to me and she showed relieved after I said it is for take away...

Learnt: never trust...
