Freeman's Little New York — Restaurant in Lower Sackville

Freemans -Lower Sackville I admit I am not the hugest fan of this place, though I do like the Steak and Pickle Pizza. I decided to give the Peanut butter bacon burger a try. Description- BUTTER BACON BURGER Slathered with chipotle & peanut butter, topped with crispy bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato & onion. I asked for no onion and went with sweet potato fries for the side. Was it slathered in Chipotle and peanut butter, I'd say no. I didn't really taste the chipotle sauce but the burger as a whole was not dry, I just expected it to be a lot of sauce from the peanut butter and chipotle. It was pretty decent. I have had others that have been better, but it is still something I would order again. The sweet potato fries were the best part. Good portion and they were good, they came with the curry mayo. As for service, they were definitely busier than usual and only 2 people running. Drinks were slow. I was asked my food order 3 times. We did end up moving tables. So then our bills were also a mess, but we got it...

I was new to Sackville - went here for brunch. Waited about 15 minutes before the waitress came over. She seemed like she was the only one on. The food was decent - it was warm, but not what I expected for someone who only had a couple tables. She had no idea what came with the breakfast (she couldn't remember if the breakfast poutine came with toast or not) my Caesar was not good, I had to ask for waitress twice - since the first time I asked, she said sure - then went to an empty table, cleaned it off, and stood up front for the next 20 minutes - without bringing it over. Then two guys came in she proceeded to speak to. She finally came back to check on the table and I asked for water again. I drank the entire glass, she never came back to ask if I needed it refilled or not. By that time I packed up what was left of my food and just wanted to leave. Caesar drink was way over priced at $7.99 - and had absolutely nothing special in it. Breakfast came to $50 for two people;. Will not be...

First of all food amazing....and usually absolute wonderful service. But it sure isn't hard to tell when the boss isn't there...service today was terrible...server we had only cared about chatting it up with another table...obviously knew them...took her sweet time coming with menu and taking our drink order...she walked around with her mask under her chin several times in the dining area. When our food arrived, I finished my meal before she even decided to check on us ....then didn't really wait for an answer...as I was paying , she abruptly just left again to tell others rather loudly they couldn't sit in a particular area...very inattentive and unprofessional....I have never had these issues here before . Will I be back, yes, but of she is the server , I will leave...

Update...my concerns were addressed and I am completely satisfied that it was taken seriously. It's one of my favorite places to eat and I will be back soon. Thank...
