Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Lower Sackville

I would never eat from this location ever again. I went in to get a tea and hash browns and saw the girl that makes the sandwiches with gloves on walking around holding the walls , counters and then getting the bread with the same gloves on. I told her she needed to change her gloves before she handled the food she looked at me and stewed her teeth then went and got a wrap off the shell. She added toppings to the wrap took the toppings off the wrap and threw it back into the container then threw the wrap back on the shelf.

She had the same gloves on as she walked past again this time she leaned on the wall by their office doorway holding the walls. She went back to where she was making sandwiches. I told her again she needed to change her gloves. I asked the cashier for the manager.

She went to the take out window and spoke to the lady there. She asked why I wanted the manager and the cashier told her she didn't know. She came back and told me that the manager is not in and doesn't know when she will be back. I told her then I would have to call their head office, that's when the older woman looked at me and said .. oh no I guess we are all about to lose our jobs. Then the sandwich maker looked at me, took her gloves off and sanitized her hands.

It was too late. They violated every sanitary rule there was to serve in the restaurant industry and laughed about it. I called the head office located in my old town of Oakville Ontario and placed a complaint.

I was just disgusted and will never eat there again. People don't know what they are getting when you order food from people who just don't care about health and proper food...

I go through the Drive-through in order a medium iced coffee, A mango frozen drink, and a side of wedges. First, I got the drinks and then they gave me a bag with the wedges in it. And continue on my way till I get back to my work. I could not believe that they actually served these to a customer. Cold, hard as a rock wedges, And there may have been seven in the cup. 2 or 3 good size ones, and the rest were garbage. Unbelievable. And this is what happens in a drive-through because it doesn’t matter most times you don’t see it until it’s too late. Anybody in a restaurant that serves this should be fired. Wonder why people are so picky these days well this is why. With the price of food, you expect a little more decent products. This is not the first time something like this has happened at this location. It’s just the first time. I’m finally leaving a review about it. Trust me if I could leave I would. $2.79 is what I paid plus tax. UPDATE* I get a message asking to go online and submit a message through contact us and so I did and the response I got was this-

You think that would tell...

One of the better Tim Hortons shops when it comes to service. In my humble opinion it rates a close second behind the Timmy's at the Cobequid Multi Service Center for service among all the franchises located in the Bedford\Lower Sackville area. Service is always prompt, even when ordering from the counter and there is a long line up going through the drive-thru. When ordering anything as far as the meal combos (sausage and egg biscuit, bagels, soups, etc.) the employee that is preparing it is very friendly and tells you which, for example, type of bagel they are placing in the take out bag first, which is placed in last, ect. So, overall, very friendly and prompt counter service. Even going through the drive-thru was very smooth, without any hiccups. The only issue I have that they lost a star on was the bathrooms were not kept clean on a regular basis, especially after peak hours in the morning. For instance....I was there this morning (August 2nd, 2018) at around 10:30am and the men's bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned all morning. That is an issue they need to work on. Now granted, I've been in there many times and the bathroom was in pristine condition. Lastly, I give them bonus points for being open 24hrs. It is always nice to know I can run over and grab a coffee at 1:00am in the morning, or...
