King of Donair — Restaurant in Lower Sackville

When we went into store 4 months ago amazing service they were great to myself and my daughter fast great pizza.

We would normally order pizza from there for delivery and once a week or so it was our go-to place fast reliable good food great service.

About 2 weeks ago my son ordered a pizza. It was on speakerphone I heard it all . My son doesn't normally order but he did everything he was supposed to do said what he was supposed to say and the pizza never showed up an hour and a half later I called just to get an ETA cuz that wasn't normal delivery time and you know start to wonder something happened to her order.

Not sure if I spoke to an owner or a manager and older man though who took my call was extremely rude when I was very polite and just was wondering if there is an issue with our order just cuz we hadn't received it yet and I was just wondering he snapped at me told me that they thought it was for pickup because my son didn't give the address I explained I heard that he gave the address but regardless it's not pick up you know we still wanted to have our pizza delivered if that was okay he said he'll be there in 5 minutes so rude to me told me that he absolutely did not give the address and kind of shrug me off and hung up.

When the driver showed up I asked him you know if there was issues like I heard the call my son gave the address but either way the person on the phone was very rude like I was not rude I wasn't upset I was just trying to find out what under a pizza he was so rude and disrespectful and snapped at me like as if it was his order that got messed up like as if it cost him money. The driver kind of uncomfortable with the question I could tell just was like I think he's having a bad day who knows I think he was being kind and polite.

The delivery service usually fast they can deliver guys great I tipped him. Bottom line I will never order from there again they sent me the pizza that was in the warmer for an hour and a half it was very dry and it tasted like a week old really hard it was gross I think the kids ate some but the rest of it either went to the dog or the garbage.

Had he not been such a jerk or if his approach were better then they would not have lost a lifetime customer. Worst customer service that night. Infact so bad I will never order there or even eat their...

This popped up on my feed and I realized that I forgot to leave my review. Back in April it was my best friends' birthday, and I gave him a choice of where he wanted to go for food. He chose KOD in Lower Sackville as he enjoys the KOD donair sub, so this is where we went.

Honestly the food was okay, but the way he was treated there was totally unacceptable and the reason I will never purchase food from there again, so this is the reason behind my rating of 1 star because of their demeanor and how they treated my friend.

We both drove there in our own cars and I parked towards the opposite side of the parking lot because I always park away from other vehicles. My friend parked in front of KOD. There were no signs posted at that time (not sure now since I have never been back) stating this parking spot was for staff or delivery which should mean it is an available spot to park. After we ate we were going to go for a coffee down the street at Tim's so I drove away to meet him there. I sat and waited for quite some time. Maybe 10-15 minutes or longer waiting for him. When he finally arrived he told me that one of the staff members pulled up behind him and blocked him in. He asked if they could move so he could get out and from my understanding the staff became confrontational saying how he wasn't supposed to be parked there which turned into an argument.

To be fair, I was not present for this, but he had no reason to lie to me and the fact that there was no signage posted I still can't understand why it was an issue. At any rate if this is how they treat their paying customers, I certainly will not be going...

The pizza is good, but damn their staff can be rude on the phone. As well I would much rather order online, but the information on the website is incorrect. I think we're done using them now though, latest situation I ordered 3 pizzas for delivery, I know I said delivery because we talked about it and how the website said they don't deliver to my address but it turns out they do. After 40 minutes I call and ask and they say that it's waiting for pickup. The lady says they don't just automatically know my address, I explained I gave my phone number so I assumed they had a record of it from last time, or they would ask for it if they needed it. Her reply suggested that I was a moron for thinking that. The tone and attitude I got back made it clear they don't GAF about my business so I'm pretty sure they won't have to worry about dumb people like me calling them ever again. Pizza was, not surprisingly cold, and no garlic sauce that its supposed to come with. I'd keep bitching, but ultimately I'm just done. Plenty of other pizza...
