The restaurant owner should consider closing the dining room and focusing on online delivery. My boyfriend and I waited over two hours in the dining area for our food to be served, which seemed to be the case for most of the other customers as well. I noticed a lot of DoorDash delivery people picking up orders at the cash register. I felt bad for another group who was told the restaurant had run out of rice—something I’ve never encountered at an Asian restaurant before.
The server came to our table to confirm our order, so after an hour of waiting, it was clear the kitchen hadn’t even started preparing our food. On top of that, the server got my order wrong—I asked for Tom Yum soup but was given wonton soup instead. We were also supposed to get sesame balls and tea as part of the degustation combo, but the server asked us to pay before we received them. We were too shy to mention it since it was obvious she was having a rough night.
