Om plante — Restaurant in Magog

Not only was I glad to find a vegan place in the area, but I was also delighted by the originality and care of the dishes. Their menu is pretty adorable with how almost every dish has "Ommm" in their names.

It was the first time I had a Brazilian tapioca crepe and kelp noodles. I could taste that they were made of quality and wholesome ingredients, and was amazed to hear the staff makes everything in-house. Everything was seasoned richly yet didn't overwhelm with flavor. The tiramisu cake, made with homemade vegan cheese, was so delicious that I felt quite moved. The portions could seem small, but they were also reminders to savor each bite.

I really appreciated talking with Renata, the owner and chef, and Melque too. They were both very warm and authentic. Renata shared her vision of not only serving food but also hosting events and workshops for the community to learn about how to make delicious wholesome food for themselves. May such a place built with love continue...

If I lived closer, I would be there at least once a week, because WOW.

The service we received was impeccable. They really took time and explained the meals and even chatted with us a bit too! Excellent customer service!

As for the food, I am blown away. We shared several different crêpes & we even shared a dessert, all which were savoury and delicious!

100% plant based, gluten-free as well as refined oil and sugar-free! Not something I can say we have much around on the south shore of Montreal where we are from!✨

We left there with a big smile on our faces & a stomach full.

We cannot wait to be back in the area again to go try more items from the menu!💚

An amazing find in Estrie...

I've traveled all over North America for better or for worse and I still think about how incredible the food was here, unlike anything I have tasted elsewhere. I admit I am a bit inexperienced with french cuisine, but vegan french cuisine? What a treat. The staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful. This place isn't the cheapest but that's for a reason and it's well worth the price. I don't know if I will ever end up in Magog again but if I do, I know I am going...
