A&W Canada — Restaurant in Maple Ridge

Went to the drive through today around 1230pm , the lady her name was ravneet was so rude and did not know how to deal with visa gift card. She asked me to tap but i told her it is a visa gift card and tap is not ganna work. Then she asked me to swip the card and there was an elastic band around the machine. I asked her to take it out but in the Rudly manner she kept on saying to swip the card. Then I asked her to get some one else to help me and she refused and kept on saying it is not Aw gift card and it is not going to work here.

I asked her to give my card back then she asked someone to come and help. I was very upset that did not wanted to wait anymore ,I got my card and left.

Called the store and spoke with one of the managers and she said ravneet is one of my old staff and she can handle the drive through very well and she never had any complains about her. The manager said that ravneet was not train to do the visa gift card

I am not happy with the service I got from ravneet...

I went to A&W for breakfast today and I was truly impressed by the outstanding service provided by one of their employees, Elishba. From the moment I started ordering, Elishba greeted me with a genuine sense of kindness and a warm smile when I got to the window that immediately made me feel welcome. Her enthusiasm was contagious and not only was she friendly and attentive, but she also took the time to answer any questions I had about the menu with a lot of patience. It's rare to find someone who goes above and beyond to create such a positive atmosphere but Elishba certainly did just that. Her excellent customer service made my visit to A&W an enjoyable experience, and I can’t wait to return. We picked up $180 of food early Sunday evening and they didn't get one thing wrong! Amazing! And all the food was hot! Only issue was that we didn't know the nuances between all the different burgers and special orders, what was what, so it was difficult to sort out! LoL But nothing wrong! Thank you!!

August 2025 update: poped in for a breakfast sandwich at 8:30 am while car was at Kal Tire (highly recommend) and the service was spectacular! The girl who helped me was so polite, curious and nice. Took extra care to tell me where the napkins were, without me asking, and brought around a coffee top up! Spectacular for a fast food place. Beyond expectations. AND, she wrote by hand, on my coffee sleeve, to "have a great day" with a happy face! Wow! (see picture) Big, big...
