To whom it concern; Today my wife and I attended the White Spot in Maple Ridge. To make a story short, my drink came in a glass with many, many, scratches. Upon complaining about this glass, the waitress held it to the light and proceeded to tell me it wasn't dirty just scratched. I think it would have been better to whisk my drink away and bring another Coke , but she thought it better to argue the point. I then proceeded to say at these prices we should be getting better than this. the waitress then replaced my drink, as she should have done in the first place . As she walked away she said , I'll send the Manager . At no time did I ask to see the manager, but there she comes, with an apology, and then an excuse new glasses on order. B S . AS the manager walked away she said she would take care of the bill. she missed my point completely , drinking out of heavily scratched glasses is unsafe .I was unable to eat my lunch , and then how dare this waitress said there is no bill ,you can go, dismissing us ,my wife of 67 years with Parkinson's , and I of 75 years, this is how you choose to treat handicapped people. I then remarked I didn't come here for a free meal, or excuses. June 15 2025 After getting in touch with Ben the general manager, he quickly assured me that this matter did not have to escalate , and that the scratched glass should have been replaced without a show and tell. however this left a bad taste in my mouth. MY wife and I have dined here several times since then, and all is very good, from the food, to the service. thank you Ben, for your help. July 1, 2025 Hi Ben, I am Clor Fiorante's wife Karen. After our complaint last month involving your serving staff, which you so graciously sorted out for us, we have been back to your restaurant numerous times and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the experience. However, we came in yesterday for lunch and the host was taking us over to the bar area to be seated and it just so happened that the same server was working in that section. When she saw us following the host she shook her head NO and mouthed to him to take us elsewhere. Neither Clor or myself had a problem with sitting in her section but now we do. You said to Clor that we would be welcome in your restaurant but this server made it abundantly clear she doesn't feel the same way.
I was so uncomfortable after this occurred, I felt as if the staff were talking about it because there was one individual who walked by our table numerous times and stared at me every time. Perhaps I was being oversensitive, but I don't think so.
We spend a fair amount at your restaurant and don't want to be treated like third-class citizens. If that server doesn't want to serve us all she had to do was ask another server in the back to take our table and not be so blatant, in our face that she wouldn't serve us. She was completely unprofessional and rude.
I've been frequenting your location since the 80's, I used to bring my children in for pirate packs when they were little. The White Spot is my favourite restaurant, I want to continue going there and have pleasant dining experiences without feeling the need to avoid a...
Read moreI have to start by saying we have been long time patrons of the White Spot restaurant in Maple Ridge and have been very happy with their services from dining in the restaurant, and using their delivery service Skip the dishes. But....last night was a very disappointing experience on behalf of White Spot themselves. We ordered a Clubhouse and onion rings that all in all was pretty good, except the bacon was a little under cooked and rubbery. But the huge disappointment was their Beef pot pie, it was not cooked. What was suppose to be a crispy crust, was a lump of dough, as well as the dough that lines the pie tray. It was one of the poorest executions at an attempt to pass off as beef pot pie. So when we called and asked for the manager, their suggestion was to just throw it in the oven. That was not received very well on our behalf. When we exclaimed it would take 30 plus minutes to cook it, the Manager said if we didn't like it we could call Skip the dishes and get our money refunded, not quite the solution we were looking for. So , the call was made to Skip the dishes and they handled very professionally and a refund was made. But my disappointment still lays with White Spot and their lack of ability or concern to truly address this. So in closing we will not be attending White Spot restaurant in Maple Ridge anytime soon. As well the only reason i gave one star is because they would not let me post this unless i gave a star rating.

Read moreReturned after 4 years and they HAVE ADDED THE PERFECT VEGGIE BENNIE TO THE PERMANENT MENU!!!! And I also got fantastic service from Ben. Best White Spot imo. I cant even go to the one nearest where I live but will stop here when im in the area every time. Good job! Brunch menu had no options for vegetarians (I don't eat pork or beef) so I asked for another option for the Bennie. They replaced the pork for an amazing spinach, mushroom and tomato trifecta that could easily find a permanent home on the menu! Endless "smash" browns that resembled potato skins. All very fresh and my medium eggs arrived at my table with perfect slightly runny consistency. My only wish was for a bit more hollandaise. The server was great despite it being a very busy Saturday with line up at the door. My coffee was kept full. I'll be back. :) I really gotta say again how impressed I am with Maple Ridge White Spot! I don't eat meat or bread so they're always willing to make subs. I asked for A SLICE of tomato instead of toast and i got 6! Also subbed ham for mushroom and veggies in the brie omelette. The same server, Ben, I've had before...so professional! Coffee always full. No wanting for anything....
