Binge Burrito — Restaurant in Markham

writing this review because i was thoroughly disappointed with their serving portion and their customer service today, i ordered a chicken and shrimp burrito bowl which i paid almost $19 for, and i did not receive food that is worth that much, maybe around $10 max. The girl who served the food literally gave no toppings, the cheese and the beans and veggies were literally non existent, a burrito bowl with no cheese just doesnt make sense, when i took it back to my car i saw that the bowl was lacking alot of things, and then i called them in the store and told them about the issue, and the girl who picked up instead of trying to understand the issue, she was arguing with me and telling me how thats their portion size and she put all the toppings, yes she did but its the quantity of the toppings that was the issue, then she gave the call to the manager who continued to say the same thing.... 0 stars for customer service, any other burrito place wouldve just said to come back in and they wouldve made me a fresh one, i dont know why their so stingy with the toppings, also they were missing alot of toppings such as regular salsa and the mango mix, even though the cost of the food is as much as any other burrito place. Anyways, safe to say i will not be returning to this spot, they are the ones who are losing a customer, there are 100s of burrito places to go to. Anyone else that knows good quality burritos wont...

I ordered 2 chicken and one bean burritos. I noticed that for each burrito, the server put just a spoonful of avocado and loaded up each burrito with the lettuce because lettuce is cheap. On top of that, the server only smeared a minimal portion of bean and added just one spoonful of cheese and once again, loaded on the lettuce, even though it is supposed to be a bean and cheese burrito!?? How are you supposed to taste the bean and cheese if the burrito is overloaded with lettuce? They barely even add enough rice to the bean burrito. As for the reviews that they are super friendly...not true. I was never greeted with a smile. They just take your order and move on to the next person. When I asked for more bean and cheese because I pointed out that it is supposed to be a bean and cheese burrito, not a salad burrito, the server was reluctant and only added just a little bit more. I even got stares/resentful looks from the kitchen staff when I ask for a bit more. How is that friendly service?! Parking here is also difficult.

Short lady at the front was really rude to my partner when we were ordering.

Went a couple weeks ago, third time going, 2/3 times negative, same worker.

They seem to always look right at my partner and then try to take the order of the person behind her.

This time my partner said that she was there first and the person at the counter raised their voice, then laughed at us. I guess they have a rule where one person will handle an entire order, so directly opposite to how it works everywhere else, but we were supposed to know that and questioning it makes us big idiots.

They seem to prefer older customers here who they believe will have more money, able to tip more and tell their rich friends about it.

I’ve told all of my friends to avoid this place and save themselves of the humiliation.

They also seem to be pumping reviews somehow.

I’d rather just drive to chipotle and eat worse burritos and be treated properly.
