I ordered two items, one of which is the last item on their menu board, number "31", a yaki udon. When I was called over to pick up the first dish once it was cooked, it was neither of the two items I ordered. I advised the cashier of the error, but she said it was item "32" which was a rice dish as I ordered, according to her. I didn't even know the menu went beyond "31" and told her that I gave her the correct menu number, but she must've inputted in wrong. She insisted I take the dish, but I told her I don't want to accept something I didn't order. I suggested that since my other item was a rice dish, if they can change that to the yaki udon, then I can settle for this incorrect rice dish. She asserted it couldn't be done because that other dish was now complete, so it was too late to substitute. She kept pushing me to accept the items (though they ended up giving my correct rice order to someone else). I told her that I really wanted the yaki udon (it was for my son) and if there was something we can work out. The (non)resolution? They told me they would refund me for the incorrect dish, but refused to make the yaki udon no matter what. I was flabbergasted and repeated their offer to me and reconfirmed they would still refuse to make the yaki udon even if was to newly put in an order and pay. They confirmed yes, they will give me back my money, but will not be cooking the yaki udon for me regardless. I asked for a full refund of both dishes since they already gave the one correct order away to someone else and I took my business elsewhere. I will never, ever patronise this place ever again. Note: every response the cashier gave me was after consulting with the owner. The owner refused to speak with me directly. Note 2: I did state 'the fried udon...ah...yaki udon' when ordering '31', but when I pointed it out to the cashier after the mix up, she said she...
Read moreWorst experience ever! I have been coming here for a long time. The food and cleanliness is getting worse. I come here just because of the convenience of shopping next door. Yesterday I asked the cashier for an extra plate because my disabled mother in law can't eat all of her food. I was going to split it with her. She told me it was against the rules because of labour costs! To put an extra plate in the dishwasher??!! How cheap and ridiculous are you people?! The pork was grey and thin, hardly any vegetables in the curry and there are never any clean tables. Dusty and dirty! You can see back into the kitchen and it's dirty as well. Washrooms are always disgusting without any toilet paper or hot water. They charge for hot water and no tap water. If they are this cheap, what else are they cutting corners on? This place has gone downhill. Shame on you guys!! Shame on the cashier for treating a...
Read moreThe only way I can describe the food is mediocre at best. Seemed like a decent value given today’s economy. Size portion is on the smaller side of average but completely acceptable given the pricing. But quality is best described as subpar but edible. I had the curry with pork #13, which is advertised as the recommended dish. Found clumps of partially mixed curry powder in the sauce. Pork was done well. Rice was slightly soggy. Also ordered a yaki udon which looked nothing like the photo on the order board. Udon was barely seared and looked just boiled it anything. Mostly cabbage and a few pieces of thin sliced pork. Not worth the charge price of $15. I was hopeful and hungry when I tried this place. I can’t recommend given all the...
