CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice — Restaurant in Markham

My friend and I went to Foody Mart around 12pm on Monday 12th June 2023, and saw Coco here. I was very happy to order two drinks. However, the service was really subpar. I waited for the customer before me to finish his order, and when I wanted to order, I looked at the staff (the young lady) but she went to make his drink. I thought perhaps she wanted to finish making the drink so I waited again. However, another customer came and started to order, and the staff greeted her and was about to take her order! I was totally ignored by the staff. The lady was kind enough to let me order first, because she thought I was standing there waiting for my drink; however, the staff told me to wait until the lady (the other customer) ordered. At the end of the day, I finally got my drinks. One of the drink was called lemon king. And there was a whole lemon inside, uncut. She didn’t even squeeze it a little bit. I ordered the similar drink from other tea shop, and they were much better. And I even tipped her!!! I am a loyal client to Coco but now I am really rethinking if my loyalty is well-received. Such a disappointed experience here, and the staff need to be retrained. I don’t believe there’s any disrespectful behaviour from my end, so I don’t think if she is sort of racist...

Went here on Oct 19 around 8:20PM. The 2 teenage girls who were serving us were the most unprofessional workers I have ever come across. They were too busy talking to each other and laughing to realize that we were waiting to order as well as another family. The mother of the young kids had asked them if they could take her order or if she should order on the app since they weren’t acknowledging her. The workers told her “order on the app if you want” and then when the mother asked for help a second time the girl said “can you like wait?” . wait for what? You were talking to your friend. This interaction was very unprofessional and made guests uncomfortable to even want to order. Hope the manager doesn’t schedule them together again and teach them professionalism. Ordered 4 drinks for pickup before arriving. Seeing how it's located in the supermarket, I decided to walk around to shop for about 20 minutes. Arrived to pick up my order and the two girls had yet to even start the order?? I passed by the area a couple times as well while shopping, and there were no customers waiting. Not sure why it took an additional 10 minutes when I had finished shopping and told them I had an order to pick up. It should not have taken 30 minutes to make 4 drinks with no line up.

I've worked as a barista for bubble tea myself, and in that time drinks can be made in under less time. Please train your staff better. Unbelievably slow, and...
