McDonald's — Restaurant in Markham

I recently visited McDonald's and I had a great experience! The food was fresh and delicious, and the service was excellent. One associate, in particular, named Kala, was really friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure my order was correct and that I had everything I needed. Her positive attitude and cheerful demeanor really made my day!

I was also impressed by how clean and well-maintained the restaurant was. The staff seemed to be working hard to keep everything tidy and organized, which I appreciated.

Overall, I would highly recommend this McDonald's location to anyone looking for a quick, tasty meal with excellent service. Arrived and ordered at 5:30pm to pick up a quick snack. There was 1 cashier and 1 cook at the back that I could see. Waited through 5 customers who received their orders before I did. At 5:50pm a, what I assume, is an employee walked in in her street clothes and made herself a meal and walked out. I asked about my order politely and the one cashier was polite and checked on it for me and finally got it for me at 6:10pm. She threw out the receipt before I could ask for it so I can't even report it to McD's HQ.

The place was also VERY messy. Flies were everywhere and garbage was on the floor.

The place was not busy when I got there, but the wait for food was longer than usual. I ordered Double Quarter Pounder with fries and the meat was a bit undercooked. I knew the texture was a bit off but I kept on chewing... until I had another glance at the burger. The cashier was shocked when my wife brought the burger to her attention. They quickly made me a new one and I devoured it shortly after. In terms of cleanliness, this location is doing a great job - garbage stations not overfilled, no oily tables and floors are not sticky. This location is inside Wal-Mart so it's pretty convenient if you want some McD's...
