Found this little dessert spot while grocery shopping nearby , just a random pick from Google Maps, but it turned out to be such a pleasant surprise! Maybe it was because I happened to miss my Cantonese friend that day… especially her dad’s homemade ginger milk pudding. So when I saw this place, I thought, why not? We shared a bowl of red bean double-skim milk, perfectly balanced sweetness and creaminess, with plenty of red beans. You can order it hot or cold; we went for the hot one, and it was wonderfully comforting. I took a look at their menu, and found there were so many tempting options! Also spotted on SwingBy that they have a great deal: 2 boxes for $10. Good thing I live downtown, or I’d be here way too often 😆. Trying to cut back on sweets lately, but this one was absolutely worth it.

The owner was so sweet and asked if I wanted to drink the bottle size and offer to squeeze the sugar cane to me when I leave so it’s fresh. I got the large and small one for my friend and I inhaled it in seconds. It was so refreshing and nostalgic of the ones I had when I was in HK. I will come back next time to try their desserts! Highly recommend for those who loves Sugar cane juice and Hk style desserts and snacks!

Cute little dessert shack located right outside the front entrance of Splendid China Mall.

Sugar cane juice is SO FRESH! David is very friendly & has great recommendations. Can’t wait to come back to try their stinky tofu.
