Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Markham

Very small shop located on a very busy street. Parking is limited and it was very VERY disorganized.

The location is small and when I got there it was busy. Currently Ontario is under COVID lockdown protocol which limits the number of people indoors and require social distance. The customer area which was about 60 sq ft or less had about 5-8 people in there for the entire duration I was there. There were people waiting for their pizza that should be waiting outside. There were 0 guidance to line up and people were just going in and out totally disorganized. This is all violating the government guidelines and it a violation.

The place was such a mess that the cashier forgot my two extra garlic sauce too. I noticed when I was outside but didn't even bother going back in because of how ridiculous it was. Garlic sauce is not worth covid.

Only giving it two stars because the pizza was alright and there was a promotion. Else stay away from...

Pls aware of the debit scam. Don’t order at this location. I ordered cheese pizza over the phone and went to get it. I asked pay by debit card. The manager person tried few times and told me it’s not working and told me to try other machine which is wireless. When I tried to pay its charging me 1 dollar service fee. So I asked why you charging me service fee for debit. Bc I know that when you order for delivery they have debit fee charge but not at the store. None of the store charge like that. This manager person said to me it’s company charging the fee not his location. If each customer paying like watch how much they getting a day. Pls don’t go to this location. Order some other pizza company.

Doesn’t matter you return the one dollar. Or not. It’s not big money for me. Your manager doesn’t have sense and how to take care the customer service. Do some trining before you hire them....

I don’t normally leave reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. I ordered pizza from the Papa John’s on Markham Main Street, and shortly after eating it, my entire family got sick with diarrhea. This was the only meal we all shared, so it’s extremely clear the pizza was the cause.

When I called the store to report it, they completely dismissed the issue and blamed it on something else we “might have eaten.” Not only was that incredibly unhelpful, but the person I spoke with was also extremely rude and defensive, showing no concern for the fact that an entire family got sick.

To be honest, the pizza did taste great, but it’s absolutely not worth the risk of food poisoning. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone unless you’re okay with getting sick and being treated poorly when you try to raise a concern. Very...
