I visited this new Popeyes location after passing by multiple times and admiring how nice it looked from the outside. I had to park a bit further away and walk over since it’s right outside Markham VIP, but it was well worth it.
From the moment I stepped in, I noticed how spotless everything was—not a single dirty table in sight. The place had a fresh, welcoming feel with great ambience, plenty of seating, stylish decor, and nice background music.
When I placed my order, I got my food in less than three minutes. And YES—the chicken was incredibly fresh. The moment I bit into it, steam came out! It was juicy, crispy, and cooked to perfection. They also had a good fountain drink selection, and I was surprised to see Lemonade as an option—that was pretty cool.
Moving on to the washrooms: they were very clean but a bit small. I had to take off one star because one of the sinks wasn’t working. Overall, I’d rate the washrooms an 8/10.
That being said, I highly recommend this location to anyone who values great food and service. This Popeyes is truly one of a kind, and honestly, I think it blows all the other locations out of the competition.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I placed an order online, paid for it, and drove to the store to pick it up, only to find it was closed. There was a sign posted on the door, but the online ordering system was still active, which is a major issue. This is like a fraud!!!
Even worse, when I tried to resolve the issue with the Popeyes, they shockingly refused to give me a refund, even though I had proof that the store was closed and I never received my food. This is incredibly poor customer service. It's frustrating to be charged for an order that could never be fulfilled. I hope the corporate team addresses this...
Read moreI ordered through the Popeyes app at 10:40pm. I went to the store at 10:50. I stayed there for another 10-15 minutes. The door was open but nobody/no Popeyes staff was inside to prepare and serve the food. The door was unlocked and lights were all on but there were no employees inside the store!! the app still charged me for the food and I did not get my refund! As per the app and online information this store is supposed to to be open until 4am. I stayed until a little after 11pm but nobody ever came! The support system is also ai only. The chat ai created a ticket for me but no real human ever contacted me back! I can never trust Popeyes service ever again! Beware when ordering pick up from the app and website! They will just charge you, take your money without giving you the food...
