The owner is very friendly, and accomodates to all your needs!
The blended iced matcha smoothie was exceptional, I really enjoyed the flavor and texture of it.
The espresso with steamed cream on the side is just right.
The iced aroma is very tasy.
The Greek Yogurt Cherry Danish, warmed up in the toaster oven, is just delicious, it is a must try for danish lovers.
The lentil soup is good, not as thick as what I am used to. I haven't tried all the soups, so far they are good.
The sandwiches are tasty, the ingredients are fresh, but the prices are simply too high. Who wants to pay $10 for a salad?
The menus on the TV screens mounted above the cash register have a noticeable and annoying problem. They scroll too often, and that makes it such that a customer must wait for the next iteration to refocus their mind on what they want to order. It is understandable that they possess a menu with a large variety of items, but for practical purposes, scroll the menu at a slower rate. The problem compounds to a worse state where an elderly person, immigrant, or those who have a hard time with English, will struggle too much to order a simple item. Slow it down!
This caused me an issue where I had to stand there for a long period of time to take photos for this stores photo gallery.
The location has construction, and will remain that way for a year or two, due to the building of high rises, restaurants, and other amenities to...
Read moreAll the bad reviews are accurate. Went today. Soap in bathroom is still non existent. Employees standing around doing very little. Not calling out orders. Coffees were ready but food was still being prepared. Here is a suggestion to ownership. If a hot drink is ready, tell your barista to call out the name of the order. You don’t need to wait until the food is ready, or else the drinks get cold. Also, the amount of front of house staff makes no sense. A bunch just standing around. While in there I hear others complaining directly to ownership and then nothing happens after. Message is relayed to staff but what are the actions to improve? Here’s another suggestion, you don’t need 6 front of house staff. Help the kitchen out so they’re more efficient and a simple suggestion to staff to call out names with orders would go a long way. Food was mediocre at best. Sandwich was about 80% bread 20% filling. Wouldn’t normally bother to review - in fact it’s rare that I do, but this was actually a joke considering the cost I paid for two sandwiches and two coffees. The one saving grace was that the coffee was slightly above average. You can tell from some responses to reviews that there is an obvious deflection of accountability. “We have trainees on” or something to that effect. If you have trainees on, where are the trainers training the trainees...
Read moreI believe Aroma Coffee has many areas that need improvement.
First, the coffee preparation is extremely slow. The counter area behind the register looks quite messy, with stickers and papers scattered around without any organization. The staff also do not greet customers properly when taking orders, which leaves a poor first impression.
The overall atmosphere felt disorganized, and even the mirrors were unclean, which made the space look neglected.
Lastly, when my coffee was finally served, the staff handed me the complimentary chocolate in a very rude manner — almost as if it was thrown at me. It was quite upsetting, and honestly, this was one of the most discourteous experiences I’ve ever had at a café.
I would not recommend this location, as it greatly damages the brand image of Aroma Coffee.
Thank you for your reply. I’m a fan of the Aroma Coffee brand and have visited many of your other locations, but yesterday was my first time at this one. My concern is not about the taste of the coffee — I only wanted to address the staff’s attitude and hygiene issues I noticed.
I hope these matters can be improved so that other customers won’t have the same experience I did. I kindly decline the gift card you offered, but I appreciate your...
