This has become one of my family's go-to takeout places. We like it because it has great options to accommodate those who aren't sushi fans. Also the service is so personable and helpful - the owner, Christine, is so kind and remembered us after we'd only been a couple times! My mom likes their chicken Katsu don. The whole family is also a big fan of the sweet potato pizza. I would recommend ordering it well in advance though and scheduling a pickup time because it's very popular and sells out fast - usually it's already sold out for the day if you call closer to the evening time. This was my first experience eating from Sakana Sushi and it was at my friend’s kid’s birthday party. It was DELISH. I was sooo happy to see sushi at a kid’s party and then it tasted great too. I’m not a huge fan of raw fish, but I did try almost everything on display =p the rolls, the sashimi and the sushi just melted in my mouth. Again, not a huge fan of raw fish, but I did eat quite an amount of sashimi at the party. They even sell the fried chicken that was served at the party. I was really disappointed in the food especially after seeing all their 5 star reviews. I usually order party trays elsewhere but decided to give this place a try.

I ordered the 70pc tray and the avocado (in 2 sets of rolls) was rotten and brown (I can understand a little bit of brown but this was to the point where it belongs in the garbage). Also, the menu stated there are 6 spicy tuna and 6 spicy salmon rolls in the tray but they were substituted with cheaper yam rolls.
