A hidden gem in the Thornhill community. If you’re a fan of sour and delectable treats, this is the place for you. An Iranian owned establishment providing their customers the best of the best when it comes to pomegranates, soaked prunes, saffron ice cream, and inner cheek pinching ingredients.

I had ordered the #4 which is the Tochal Special. This is pomegranate juice with soaked sour prunes along with salty and sour garnish as a finishing touch. I had paid $12.43 for a medium size. They only have two sizes for their items, medium and large.

They do not have any seating inside of the store but they have some tables and chairs outside for people to use. It may be a little difficult to find the store as it is tucked away in the back corner of the plaza, but definitely worth the hunt. Friendly staff with a kid in a candy store ambience. I recently visited the location and tried their Pomegranate Ice Cream with frozen noodles and Saffron Ice Cream. • The Pomegranate Ice Cream was exceptionally flavorful, with a perfect balance of sweetness and tartness. I would rate it 10/8 for its refreshing taste and unique texture. • The Saffron Ice Cream was mild and aromatic, deserving a 6/10 in comparison.
