Haven't been back in almost 6 to 7 years, and I was honestly hesitant because the food was just a 2.5/5 when I last visited. Changed my mind after my latest visit though!

💸 Price per adult on weeknights is $39.99 which includes soft drinks, hot tea, and water in the pricing. 5% cash discount is offered if the whole bill is paid in cash (NOTE: they will not allow you to split the bill AND get the cash discount).

-[BAKED SCALLOP] 10/10 🐚 At least that's what I think this dish was named that? No trace of it on their menu for online ordeding or on their site 🐚 Two little scallops baked a delectable cheesy, and savory sauce 🐚 Not fishy at all, and I used the remainder of the sauce to dip my fries into it

-[SIRLOIN STEAK] 6/10 🥩 The flavor of this was really good 🥩 I personally thought the cut of meat could have been better but I mean, this is an AYCE place 🥩 My friend LOVED it though so it will all come down to personal opinion

-[BEEF RIBS] 8/10 🥩 These were grilled really well 🥩 I also really liked the the flavor of them 🥩 I may ask them for a pair of scissors in future visits as I always struggle to eat around bones 😅

-[BEEF TATAKI] 8/10 🥩 Not sure if you can sense a pattern here but I love beef haha 🥩 The cuts were thin in a way that made it very easy to bite through 🥩 The ponzu sauce paired really well with it too

-[SALMON TATAKI] 10/10 🐟 Imagine the above dish but made with salmon!! 🐟 Their cuts of salmon made it even better because it absorbed the sauce really well 🐟 I love both of the tataki dishes but this one is definitely my preferred one of two although clearly I still ordered both

-[SALMON SASHIMI] 10/10 🐟 Pretty darn fresh if you ask me 🐟 Sliced really well too 🐟 I never use soy sauce because I always think sushi/sashimi shouldn't need soy sauce for it to taste good

-[CREAMY SHRIMP] 8/10 🍤 This is a lightly deep fried shrimp dish with a creamy sauce dressing it 🍤 I liked how small the shrimp was because it meant I could have more of other dishes too 🤭 🍤 I also like that the tails were removed too because not all places do that for you

-[PAN-FRIED MUSHROOMS] 10/10 🍄 I always order mushrooms at any AYCE place, and most of the time, it pays off 🍄 This time it was SO SCRUMPTIOUS, I really didn't have words to describe how much I enjoyed them 🍄 As such, I just ordered two more of it, and told my friends to try it as well haha

-[DEEP FRIED PORK GYOZA] 7/10 🥟 It might be a bit random but I'll order this when I can if it's offered in singular pieces 🥟 This was honestly pretty decent! 🥟 I think perhaps a dipping sauce could really elevate it

-[OCTOPUS BALL] 10/10 🦑 This is takoyaki aka savory ball of batter that has chopped octopus in it 🦑 Very delicious but be careful when biting into it because they are freshly fried 🦑 I only ordered one solely because I had many more items to try

-[SPICY SALMON SUSHI] 6/10 🌶 This one needs the seaweed surrounding the sides since the salmon is topped with spicy mayo 🌶 Has a hint of spice! 🌶 Not too much rice which is always appreciated

-[TORCHED BEEF/BUTTER FISH/SNAPPER/SALMON NIGIRI] 10/10 🔥 All four kinds I tried were great 🔥 They all had a more complex flavor compared to their raw versions thanks to the torching 🔥 All were topped with spicy mayo, and unagi sauce

-[SIRLOIN STEAK W/GARLIC] 10/10 🥩 This is the diced version which had really good flavor thanks to the garlic 🥩 This also had a better cut of beef compared to their other sirloin dish 🥩 I preferred this one obviously haha

3/28/2024 By now I've probably eaten here 8 times takeout, one time dine in. I prefer takeout because I like the comfort of my home. It was the kid's 16th birthday and he wanted this again. Like my previous review, I thought the takeout bento boxes and party trays were really good. They were fresh, The food was ready at the time it was promised and it was hot. I'll probably be back again for another family members takeout birthday meal very soon. 3/28/2023 I hadn't been back here for over 2, maybe 3 years but a friend had treated us to takeout and ordered a bunch of bento boxes along with order of udon and deep fried bananas. Everything was packaged well. Cold food remained cold and hot food remained warm as they were separately packaged. The food is a lot better than the last time when I had it in the restaurant. It had flavour, taste and presentation. It was actually really good for takeout and I'm very pleasantly surprised. I'm much more impressed this time around and I am sure I will be back again. It's not bad but again I wasn't wowed by any of the actual food.

It was okay but I was NOT wowed by any of the dishes, hot or cold. The actually taste of the food was somewhat bland, the wasabi had no kick.

Their sashimi was fine but the cooked food was very bland. The presentation for the food was very good. iPad ordering menu system was good and accurate.

The staff was good and attentive with clearing the dishes. The decor was also nice and the place was well-lit. I have had and been to better sushi restaurants within a 5 or 10...

I never write reviews, let alone bad ones, but my experience here was terrible. We came on Mother’s Day so I understand that the restaurant was very busy and that the servers were stressed. When we were being seated, our server, Quennie, was speaking really fast and we only caught the part at the end where she said “all you can eat,” so we just said okay. It was our bad that we weren’t paying attention, but for context it was crowded and we were trying to get settled at our table.

All we did was ask for her to clarify if they were serving lunch or dinner. We weren’t trying to complain to her yet she acted like we were and became extremely rude. She told us condescendingly that they were doing dinner all day for Mother’s Day, that she had already explained it to us, and that we had agreed. I know that getting asked the same question repeatedly from customers all day is annoying, but like again we weren’t trying to complain or anything, we literally just wanted to know.

After that, we asked for two more waters for my parents. She said we already had two waters… yes, we knew that. Those were the ones my sister and I ordered. There were four people at the table now and we wanted two more? Again, it was like she was assuming we were trying to complain when we were just asking her to help us. She also basically just dropped our plates of food onto our table. Like again I understand it was very busy and that she could have been having a bad day, but this was straight up disrespectful.

All we wanted was a nice Mother’s Day lunch. We didn’t expect amazing service but the least she could have done was be decent to us. The food overall was okay, but service from this specific server...
