McDonald's — Restaurant in Martensville

Literally hate McDonalds. No gluten free menu items apparently? No salads? Likely not coming back so no healthy options aside from Apple slices that don't brown for days... take from that what you will. The workers at this location don't know anything ever. I asked for a salad and they said they discontinued them likely for good, so I asked if they had any other options. I was assured lettuce wrapped burgers were an option so I went with that. Except thats not what I got. I got a box with ingredients stacked in this order : sauce, burger patty, cheese, lettuce. Not wrapped in lettuce. My sauce was on the bottom of the container soaking in!

Then today we try again given we are on the run and busy. The worker tells me that there is no chicken. None. So I drive away. Later to open the menu and place an online order OF A CHICKEN BURGER, and proceed to pick it up no problem even though when I went through deive threw MINUTES prior i was assured there wasn't ANY chicken.

Another day I was told there wasn't any bagels, so then I asked what they did have for breakfast and he listed bagels, so I again clarified and asked "so, you do have bagels?" To which he replied yes. This is ongoing every single time I stop in at this location. Do you even train your employees? At all?

I should also note that they are rude. All of them. No manners at all. Rush you in and out when no one is around. The girls gossip about their lives with the drive threw window open in front of customers.

I am finally writing this review since Google promted me to do so after my visit today. Safe to say that I will not be getting my morning coffees here anymore and just make sure to check out Tim Hortons next time I'm in a sinch and hungry. I highly suggest everyone else doing the same and avoiding this location...

Stopped in for a quick burger as we were passing through town. It was the most sureal experience. The kiosks were busy, so we waited for an employee to take our order. Waited 2-3 minutes for someone to come to the counter. A gentleman finally stepped up to take our order. Nothing to extravagant or extreme. 3 ppl, 3 orders. The lineup kept growing, and more and more ppl entered their orders at the kiosks. We waited... the young man in front of us waited, and the gentleman in front of him waited. The kitchen was silent... no talking, no relaying orders... no hustle and bustle... just odd silence. Food was being prepared, but nothing in the dining room was moving. More and more ppl were waiting in the lobby for their food. Order numbers leaving the 'now being served' monitor, but nothing was being served. A guy went up to the counter to ask where his order was as he had been waiting over 15 mins already, then skip or door dash guy asked where his order was and the employee said something to both of them and a couple mins later they got their food. The young man in front of us waited over 20 mins to get his food and was late for returning back to work. Then our order number was erased from the board, no number called....so my husband asked where our food was...he was told it was ready just waiting to be packed. After 25 mins we got our food. We asked for dine in, yet it was given to us in a bag. There were no ketchup containers or packets or napkins in the lobby It would appear drive thru took presidence over everything else. The buzz in the lobby was all the same chatter...where is our food, what's the hold up. It just an overall odd almost...

Originally I gave the Martinsville location a 1 star rating because they couldn't get 1 of my last 8 orders correct, and technically "stole" about $100 by not providing proper orders and missing items, so I refused to go there anymore. Today, at 1:51 I gave them another chance and wow. Whoever made my big macs, great job, they looked great, well as great as McDonalds can look. I was impressed. Everything looked so nicely placed between the buns, for both orders. The fries were a full order this time, not 3/4 or half full. Everything was nice and warm, nothing was squished and most importantly, nothing was missing.

Good job to the burger preps, the fry preps and the person who packaged it all up. Huge improvement, Management should be thanking the employees who put together Trans# 04KWX957V2 for their dedication to quality and presentation.

5 stars for Food, I've never seen a better looking BigMac from any other location and order was 100% perfect. 4 stars for service due to the lady taking orders sounding really depressed to have a job. 4 stars for atmosphere because the drive thru was fairly clear of snow and ice "build-up/Bumps", but it was still really icy, some salt...
