Early morning Hatters flock to their favourite Cafe Verve. She has all the gusto, verve and enthusiasm of youth. Verve serves not only handcrafted, freshly made beverages and café made foods, they bring zest and spiced sweetness to the tables.

Many regulars sit down to read daily news; parents meeting up after dropping off their children at the school around the corner, passersby grab lunchtime sandwiches and too early for the bus travellers drop in for a takeout coffee and snack. Moms bring containers for a healthy takeout supper.

Against the walls are paintings, crafts and bags exhibiting the talents of passionate local artists. [The waiting list is long, make sure to reserve a spot if interested in showcasing your collection on their walls.]

Lunchtimes to later afternoons, from breakfast to closing Café Verve feeds the hungry. Their soup of the day and sandwiches gourmet, golden turmeric milk are personal favourites of mine.

They have seasonal changes to the menu, but popular items are always available. Special quenchers for hot summer weather and caressing hot chocolate for minus40 temperatures outdoors. For every guest and every season there are deliciously diverse somethings.

The layout is perfect, modern tables & chairs with a fireplace and leather seats in the corner. A true classic of style and comfort. Do stop by and become a guaranteed fan.

This is a brand new hidden gem within Medicine hat, not only do they strive to please their customers, they also showcase many local artists in our area....

There is something about this wonderful cafe that gives you a sense of community and belonging that I can't really put my finger on nor find words to convey.

The owners put so much more than money into this business and it shows.

The staff is friendly , the drinks are so yummmmmyy (try the cold brew, it is perfection) and the food .... delicious !

I have been to so many cafes in Medicine Hat and have left disappointed in the quality of goods as well as customer service.... I think Cafe Verve is going to give a lot of other Cafes a big run for their money!

I’m always on the search for traditional cappuccinos while traveling for work. Google found me this place and I wasn’t disappointed. Immediately satisfied before opening the door to this cafe as there is a notice saying they use Rosso coffee beans, one of my favourite places to get a cappuccino in Calgary.

There is plenty of parking and lots of seating options in the cafe.

The staff were very welcoming taking their time with the couple in front of me and their menu. The menu. Wow! So many things I wanted to try from the fall salad option to their non coffee drinks such as tumeric golden milk. Lots of gluten free baked options too!

My traditional cappuccino was delicious and I will be back the next time I’m in town and have time to sit next to...
