We had our sons grad celebration here. I had been communicating with owner for several months prior to event. I asked what there was for food options for a party of 25-30ppl. I was offered buffet style with pasta and salads or pizza buffet. I spoke with family and friends and said we would like the buffet syle option as first stated and we were OK with more pizza as long as had some salads. When we arrived we were told we only got pizza. I told them that isn't what we had discussed. They said they would speak with manager and come speak with me. Many of my guests were planning for more food for their $15.99 per person. I spoke with party after speaking with kitchen staff and everyone was understanding and said we'll the pizza was good but hoped we would get some sort of discount for no salads or pasta. I then told kitchen staff people were happy with pizza just disappointed there was nothing else. He then told me to talk to his manager on phone. I did and I tried to explain the situation to him and he told me that he confirmed with me that morning stating no pasta or salads just pizza. That is not the message I received. I was asked if the pizza choices were right.. I confirmed and that we would be there at 6pm.. I confirmed. He told me he.was coming down. If he did come down he never 1x spoke to me to reconcile the situation. He sent me a screen shot of our messages which I already had and had gone over. I then stated to him that clearly there was a miscommunication between the 2 of us but we were enjoying pizza just was disappointed we didn't have more food and I would have to stop at a grocery store after and make sure to grab more food to feed my party at home. NO RESPONSE.. The wait staff put out romaine salad and some ceaser dressing on a bowl. Not alot and not mixed. The wait staff gave half the table waters (which we thought was them trying to say sorry, nope charged ppl as they were cashing out for any water they drank. We had to clear out own table of the plates as no one at ant time came by to ask us how were were doing or if we wanted any drinks, besides putting a few bottles of water like I said down for some and then charging them for drinking them.
Once my entire party paid their bills. I went to see if owed any more. I had already put a $100 deposit down which was to cover mysel, husband and 3 others which with taxes should have been under $90. My friend had no clue I paid a deposit and offered to pay half of what was left owing. The man behind til said I owed $117.. I said there is no way. I responded that I put a deposit down.. he then started back tracking and was like no, ok, it is $12.60.. wth.. not even sure how that was possible.??? Everyone paid and I still owed more. Must have been for some waters that I never drank as I was never offered anything and niether was half my guests and my guests were already charhe if they did drink a water that was placed on table without reasoning or explaining. So Skip the tip.. yes most of all my guests did as I didn't need to explain to them what I was dealing with they were disgusted in the service we were given.
I refused to create a problem on this day that was so important to my son, so I paid and left. I promise you, nobody that was there for my sons big day will...
Read moreHere we go! After working a 13 hour day working in a kitchen, I SURE didn't want to cook when I get home. I'm sure chefs and cooks understand this on the deepest level. And previous experience owning a pizza joint, I have come to see pizza in a new way. 3/5 Pizza needs 5 things to be great, hear me out. Crust - it's a must for quality (slightly overcooked, decent flavor, tastes like it was made with 24 hours. 3/4 of a star if I could) Sauce - it adds moisture and flavour. It has to be good and unique. (Not enough sauce to be worth noting. 😔) Cheese - "I mean, hey, how you doing?" (Not the best cheese I've had on a pizza, not the worst. Was overcooked.) Price - Ok from a dollar stand point, standard, affordable, competitive. From a VALUE point of view, you also get what you pay for. Both are very important to consider, as it may or may not lead to return business and customers. (See number 5) Quality of ingredients - the better quality of ingredients does in fact make a superior product. Which also in turn cost a bit more. (Food cost of crust and sauce is so minimal, these must be fantastic. Other toppings such as produce are usually not too expensive either, my meat lovers pizza had no veggies. Protein and cheese are the most expensive items, I get that. But the quality of both made me a little sad.) Just my first impression.
I've waited this long to order for two reasons. For them to train their staff, and I didn't really have a need too. Every person has their top 2 pizza places. If they don't order from #1, it's #2 (which may need...

The service and hospitality were unmatched in Medicine Hat.
The games they have are a unique touch, however could use a bit of repair and maybe a couple other younger kid options. It's great to play air-hockey and Foos-ball while waiting for dinner to come out.
The staff remembered us the second time we visited and that made us feel very welcome, thereby enticing us to come out for a family dinner-out night a 3rd time now.
We have ordered their pasta as a take out and were blown away as to the portion size and smart packaging in a small pizza box. This made for it to be a great picnic or rainy day eat-in-the-car meal.

They really do kick it up a notch with all the unique and yummy...
