IHOP — Restaurant in Medicine Hat

We were there athis weekend. Service was extremely slow even though the place was not busy. Our food arrived cold. We sent it back. They nuked the hash browns, so they were more like boiled potatoes than hash browns. Two other tables sent food back also while we were there. Our server seemed to be aware of the issue because she kept saying to all guests when she brought food, "If it's cold, let me know". Even the coffee was only luke warm and bitter/ stale tasting. So basically, there was a long delay for unacceptable food. We only stayed because we had guests with us, but should have walked out. The server brought our bill and asked how everything was, even though she knew we had sent things back. Maybe was hoping we would lie??!! We told her the food was not good and had been cold, which she already knew. She said "Well, I'll just get your bill". So obviously, she w not care about our feedback or simply didn't care. Whoever runs the place has poor management skills... we had been warned by others and will not be going back again, nor will we recommend this place. Worst iHop we have ever been to in Canada or the US. And no, we do not want to be contacted by a manager so please...

Went into IHOP at 545. We were seated quite quickly brought menus and water. We ordered our food. Food came promptly.my partner ordered bacon, eggs, ham, sausage, hashbrowns, pancakes she asked for eggs over easy they were still slimy. The hashbrowns couldn’t cut through with a knife must been kept in on the grill for hours. The bacon looked like it had been sitting for quite some time because usually fat on a bacon is clear if it’s hot this was white again so the server brought fresh eggs and hashbrowns. The hashbrowns weren’t cooked. They were so greasy you couldn’t eat them and the eggs are still Clear and cooked properly . I ordered chicken fried steak with white gravy, eggs, and pancakes again, the eggs were slimy clear fluid on them yet. Hashbrowns were again hours old couldn’t cut through them crunchy outside greasy in the middle. The steak was well overcooked and maybe sitting again just a very poor experience at this place very disappointed. He did Partner’s breakfast but not mine. Just an overall bad experience never again do not recommend this...

Honestly guys go to Perkins or Trukkers or The MH Buffet, Your better off I ate here with my family before our drive back to BC. Horrible quality, bad service and cramped atmosphere!

My sandwich was soggy and sloppily slapped together when it got to me. Worst Double Decker BLT in my life. (took 20-30mins) My my dad's omelette was cold as was my step mother's. Not to mention the hot chocolate gave me and upset stomach.

The waitress was not too happy, she just rushes in and out doesn't really talk much. The managers are however polite and friendly. They're just busy it seems. It is a rush rush environment. I wouldn't mind the staff to learn from their professionalism tho...
