Juggie's Tap House & Grill — Restaurant in Medicine Hat

Went in and ordered the brisket poutine they had...all the sauce and brisket on top of fries. Tasted good enough until the top layer was gone then all you had was fries...no gravy(which you expect on poutine)..just dry fries. The waitress we had seemed annoyed just serving us...might because it seemed like she was the only one serving. Nice place but when you go out to eat you expect good food and good service...that is why a 3 star. Room for improvement. Probably go back but if its the same then I'll try some place else next time I want to spend $60. As a reply to Juggies comment...it was a special...it was Juggies by the 7-11. You did have it as a special...it wasn't special at all...and by you commenting that you don't have that on the menu tells me that you don't really know what's happening in your restaurant either. Was there twice..had wings the night before with 5 other people and they had it as well as wings....that is why we went the next day for lunch so I could try it....unbelievable. Went into Juggies for the first time since moving to MH. Felt a little like a speak-easy with the fully closed-in entrance, but once inside the atmosphere was better than expected (more pub than bar) despite the main room being dominated by a larg bar in the middle. The service was excellent, and the food portions were large, inexpensive and delicious! The bench seats along the wall are a little uncomfortable for eating with a party (they are wide and deep and you can't sit back while eating) but seem great if you want to sit back, enjoy a drink and whatever band is playing. Don't know what the place is like late at night or when a band is performing as I was there early in the day (4-5 pm) but they have a great happy hour. Well, we go to Juggie’s quite regularly and the food and service is always top notch, but a few of us have a complaint . Some of us ordered one taco and some ordered two. We all got the same amount of sour cream and salsa which was only enough for one taco, so those of us that ordered two tacos asked for extra salsa and sour cream, and when we got them it was in a larger container. When we got the bill we were surprised that we were charged an extra $1.50 for both the sour cream and salsa!!!!!! Why don’t they just give the larger salsa and sour cream when you order two tacos?? Next time we will order one taco at a time! Inconvenient, but why pay...
