Samir's Donair — Restaurant in Medicine Hat

My girlfriend and I have been goin there for a few years until our last experience. On our last visit this past Friday around 4-430 in the afternoon. The lady working behind the counter greeted us as we walked in. We then proceeded to watch her fumble around aimlessly for 5-10 minutes trying to finish the previous order. In this time another lady walked into the restaurant. After completing the first order she then informed us that she will be helping the other lady first. I have never in my life had anything like this happen anywhere, let alone a small local business trying to compete with the corporate giants that make up the fast food industry. If you like this place it's because you have never eaten a good donair before. I would never go back. The hack job done on the meat was made worse by the fact that they reheat the meat in a microwave instead of on a grill. The wrap was I placed on a warmer but not for nearly long enough and did I not help to soften the wrap at all. My donair was still stone cold when I ate it which was not appetizing at all. There's no options to make a combo, which was dissappeared as well. The sizes are odd and there would have been no way I could eat the next size up but the size I got left me hungry. They advertise being fast, and they are, because they are putting out a sub par product. Would rather have to wait longer and get a better product. Will definitely go back to...

Since under new ownership..the food I ordered a few days ago was horrible! The donairs had hardly any lettuce or other veggies and very little sauces! Had also ordered 2 Caesar salads which were put in same bag as donairs, both salad containers had opened & the salad all over donairs and plastic bag!! I cant see this business lasting long! Definitely not the great donairs when it was under previous ownership!! NEVER WILL...
