Subway — Restaurant in Medicine Hat

What a delightful surprise! We came to this Subway shortly after 11am, 3 staff were diligently working. I've never seen Subway staff work so hard!

The restaurant was just opening for the day, or so it seemed, as staff took down chairs. We were greeted, and our order was taken!

To our surprise, they had Seafood sensation. While we couldn't see it on the menu board, we saw it on the line. So we got a 6" seafood sensation and a 6" veggie, both made to our liking.

We had made one a combo, with a fountain drink and 2 cookies. The cherry cola was very fizzy but very tasty too. The cookies were good.

The washrooms were clean and well stocked.

We use this location the most as they are typically terrific. Today, however, we placed a large order for an group lunch. We were told they are out of mustard? Literally everyone wanted mustard! There is a Wallmart across the parking lot that has alot of mustard. When I called to ask about this, I was told because the supplier did not send it, they don't have any? They are so focused on customer service, yet They would rather make the customer suffer instead of simply grabbing some relatively inexpensive mustard? This is pretty dumb in my personal opinion and shows a complete disregard for customer service? I guess we will go back to the other location that...

UPDATE - We went to try again after a bad experience months ago and not only was the quality great, the customer service was amazing! They have really turned this store around and we will become regulars again.

This place has really gone downhill. The service and quality is awful. You get 3 slices of meat or else you’re charged extra and just told by employees that “there’s a shortage”.
