Dino's Fresh Food Deli — Restaurant in Midland

July 2nd, 2025 update: Dino's is still rocking the mile high sandwiches & I am HAPPY to report that the smoked turkey is back on the menu !! oh for a nice side of tangy coleslaw to compliment their awesome sandwiches.....

we were disappointed to arrive & find that while still on their web menu, they no longer offer the Turkey Time sandwich, which had been my go to for years when stopping by. I had often wished that like most delis they offered Roast Beef... the departure of the Turkey Time is very saddening. My other comment has always been ... what deli do you go to (other than here) & not be able to get a side of slaw !? Being we were doing take-out to my brothers I actually stopped in town & grabbed some before heading to Dino's. Don't get me wrong, still a GREAT place to get a Mile High Corned Beef sandwich, but beyond that...

I've had Dino's a few times now. Friends in Midland shared this restaurant with me a few years back. I was so impressed by the enormous size of the corner beef sandwich. I'm Originally from Windsor and I used to LOVE Malics Mile high corned beef sandwiches. This reminded me of them but better!

Portions are HUGE! I always get a mixed salad because who wants to choose between potato salad and pasta salad? Both are superb! I'm not sure if they use a sour cream or yogurt base for the potato salad, but it tastes light and airy versus a heavier mayo based salad. If it is mayo based, it's definitely light. It will fill you, without weighing you down. The pasta salad uses multiple noodle varieties.

Don't forget the dill pickles. So yummy. 100% recommended to...

I could not believe this place when we first walked in, yes there was a line up and were talking about 15 people waiting to be served at 11:30 a.m. but the line was moving very quickly which was ok because it gave me time to read the menu, which was either corn beef or montreal smoked on rye, but here is the amazing part, these sandwiches had to have a lb. of meat on them, I said to my wife that we should split one because it was just to much to eat for one person. But I also like the fact that this meat was steamed and served hot and pickles come at no charge. You just don't get that type of meal anymore, I know that I could get it 40 years ago, but to get it now again, I was delighted and thats why I am telling you so you can also have...
