We will never return to this location again.
Although the food was good, as expected, the customer service was horrible. Upon entering Pita Pit (myself and two children, at 12:30pm on August 18, 2020), I received an important phone call from our veterinarian regarding the status of our 8-month old puppy who was currently undergoing an operation on his head. Out of courtesy for others, we stepped off to the side (near the washrooms, away from the line), and I instructed the kids to view the menu and decide on a meal while I spoke to the vet; other customers did not appear to be bothered by our presence. In addition, the maximum capacity was not reached due to our slightly extended presence in the building.
While still on the phone (we were the only customers in the building at this time), one female employee, who clearly saw that I was on an intense telephone conversation, said with great attitude, “can I take your order?!”. As I smiled and pointed to my phone, her response was, “STILL?”. I recognize that my phone conversation was longer than I had hoped (10-15 minutes) given the extent of information being conveyed, however, I do not believe that this gives an employee the right to speak to a customer in this disrespectful manner.
When we were ready to order, (once again, the only customers in the building), we approached the cashier, and I apologized to the other female employee who was working and explained our situation; not a single word or smile was received from her, she simply stared at us with a cold, blank face until we gave our order. After I paid for our order, I waited patiently for a receipt, however, this employee walked away from the cash register despite my continued presence; when I asked her for the receipt, she gave a look of disapproval, and handed it to me without saying a word, yet again.
Once it came time to choose toppings for our pitas, we finally had an interaction with a kind and personable gentleman/employee; I did not get his name, but he was the only individual representing the Pita Pit brand with friendliness and respect. Unfortunately, the customer that came in behind us was being served by the first employee who made the snarky “STILL?” comment to us, and it appeared that her attitude towards this new customer was just as unpleasant; she asked him whether or not he wanted cheese in a very “snappy” manner, seemed annoyed by each topping he requested, and displayed very unsettling body language and facial expressions.
We have been visiting Pita Pit for many years and quite enjoy their food, so it is unfortunate that we had to experience such disrespect from this location; this terrible customer service truly reflects poorly on the...

I asked for a grilled halloumi and falafel bowl-3 times, and the beef brisket bowl-2 times.
Was not asked if I wanted anything on the grill.
The employee went to make the bowls and asked what I wanted in them, to which I replied everything that comes with those bowls. She then asked if I had ordered a signature bowl, as she only charged me for the falafel and not the halloumi and that they had no halloumi. After I had paid, and after the bowls were mid-preparation.
I said that was fine and to just put everything that comes in the grilled halloumi and falafel bowl into the falafel bowl, and to put extra sauce on both bowls. She proceeded to put brown lettuce in, and then spinach which makes no sense and lettuce is not even an ingredient in the bowl. She did not put any of the lemon zataar sauce in the falafel bowl, and I had also asked for no tomatoes in the beef bowl which she put in anyways. When she was about to pull the beef and falafel off the grill, I told her I also wanted grilled veggies (which she never asked if I wanted just walked away and started after I had paid). She then only put mushrooms and onions on, no green peppers. The entire time I also could not see what she was even placing on the grill, hence asking late for the veggies and not even realizing the error.
Once I got home to (hopefully) enjoy my meal, I took a few bites and threw the rest out. It was dry and unappetizing as she did not put any lemon zataar sauce on, and the lettuce that was now mixed in tasted foul and rotten and totally ruined my dinner. I had hoped that all would be fine and it was not.
I've given pita pit so many chances, and even tried talking to the regional manager previously who obviously has not corrected any issues nor did they offer anything when my previous orders were messed up. We still continued to try giving pita pit chances but after tonight we are boycotting pita pit.
We tried going to this location the other day, and us along with other customers were turned away due to a "downed system", meanwhile the female employee was the only one there with her young child. Likely more believable that she did not want to work.
Best part? The other location on Kennedy Rd makes up their own hours. And they shut off the open sign an hour before closing and darken the place so no...

I’m writing to express my disappointment with the service I received this morning (around 10:15 AM) at your location. I’ve been a regular customer and have always had good experiences in the past, but today was frustrating and disappointing enough to bring it to your attention.
I ordered a smoothie that I’ve had many times before, and I could immediately tell it wasn’t made correctly — it didn’t taste like it had the proper ingredients or portions. I also witnessed the staff member add something to the blender after the fact, clearly trying to make up for an incorrect portion, which impacted the overall quality and taste.
To add to that, there was only one staff member working at the time. When I arrived, she was on the phone taking someone’s order and didn’t acknowledge me or others waiting — not even a quick “I’ll be right with you.” That lack of basic customer service set the tone for what ended up being an underwhelming experience.
No offer was made to remake the smoothie or issue a refund, despite the clear issue. I ended up throwing the smoothie in the garbage and went without a drink for my lunch combo, which I paid for in full.
