Tonight, we ordered from Frankie's for the first time. Unfortunately, it will likely be our last. We ordered chicken fingers, one 'Ho hum', the other Nashville Hot. We had read the other reviews, and decided to try it, for something a bit different. It was very disappointing. First, may I just say cold food, should never be packaged with hot food. Sorry, it is just common sense. Putting the coleslaw (the only good food we had, btw) in with the hot chicken, made the coleslaw warm. Mayo and heat do not go well. The chicken fingers, both orders, were overcooked. The chicken was hard, and crunchy, horribly dry. It was inedible. The curly fries, equally disappointing. They were undercooked, almost raw. This was not a good first impression. We are aware this is a subsidiary of Lone Star. That makes it more disappointing, knowing the great food Lone Star Milton is known for. There needs to be better attention paid to product, if Frankie's expects to be successful. Milton is a restaurant saturated town, with picky customers. If a restaurant puts out good customer service, and have a great food product consistently, the town will show loyalty. Right now, Frankie's has a long way to go, in my opinion. (Last note - Skip the Dishes issued a full refund)
May 9th - Follow-up- To date, no one from Lons Star/Frankie's Nashville has bothered to contact me. Someone sent an email asking how it's best to reach me, and I replied with my cellular #. I thought ok, good, I can give feedback, and at some point, try again. We know things happen, and everyone has a bad night. We expected communication, maybe a sorry, we can fo better. Something. Nothing. We heard nothing. It is very disappointing. Clearly poor food is not their only issue. Frankie's also needs to learn a thing, or two, about...
Read moreOrdered from Frankies Nashville chicken in Milton last night for the first time ever. It was delivered by Uber Eats and smelled delicious when it arrived. We ordered 2 chicken sandwiches, a side of curly fries a side of onion rings and a couple of dipping sauces.
When we opened it up, the fries and onion rings were all mixed up in the same box but right away we noticed that the portions looked very small. We literally counted 5 onion rings and the smallest portion of fries.
We assumed that the delivery driver may have been snacking on them on the way, so we called the restaurant to confirm before we ate anything. The girl we spoke with checked with the kitchen and confirmed with us that 5 onion rings was correct. Pardon? $3.99 for 5 small onion rings the size of a toonie?
We took photos of everything and ate the food.... the taste was very good, (slightly cold, but most likely was hot when it left the restaurant so not their fault) but we were definitely left hungry afterwards.
Food was good but value for the money is not there. If you are hungry,...
Read moreThe Milton location just sent me some of the worst chicken I have ever had. I paid $96 (!!!) on Uber eats for a chicken sandwich and 20 chicken strips. The chicken strips alone were $51.99 (!!!!!!). What I received was hardly worth $10. The strips were minuscule, maybe less than 3 inches long on average. They were coated with sugar and burnt. I ordered the chicken sandwich which came on STALE bread and they didn’t even give me the curly fries I ordered. On top of it all, it all tasted really bad. The chicken was dry, burnt, coated in sugar which made it taste completely incoherent. The sandwich, which I ordered spicy, tasted like nothing at all. The bread was dry, stale, and totally deflated and squashed. I don’t know why this place charges an arm and a leg for what I can only describe as an utter failure to cook food. A colossal waste of money. I cannot believe what kind of scam these guys are running out of Milton. I can only pray the rest of your locations aren’t this bad. I deserve some kind of compensation for this absolutely...
