I had a terrible experience ordering delivery through their app. Despite reaching out to both SkipTheDishes and the restaurant, I never received my food and was left without a resolution. The customer service was unacceptable, as I was passed back and forth between the two entities, with neither taking responsibility for the missing order and both denying the possibility of a refund. To make matters worse, I was told that the food had been delivered when there was no proof to support this claim. After several hours of trying to resolve this issue, I was left feeling exhausted and hungry. It's worth noting that I have ordered from this restaurant through their app and in person in the past with great success and the food has always been delicious. However, this situation has left me very disappointed and has left a mark on how I view Mary Browns. When I finally got in touch with a manager, they advised me not to order delivery through the restaurant's app in the future, but instead to order directly through the SkipTheDishes app. The only option left for me now seems to be disputing the $40 charge on my credit card. I hope that no one else has to go through this terrible experience where a simple lunch order turns into...

Ordered 13 piece chicken (mix of spicy and reg), popcorn chicken, gravy, biscuits, fries, coleslaw.

This is a fried chicken place but the coleslaw was the best tasting item of all. The chicken consistency was terrible, some skin & batter were mushy, others were greasy, and some of it was just tough & hard, the chicken itself was overcooked and dry. The spicy chicken did not taste good at all. The fries were extremely hard, overcooked. The biscuits had some black flakes on them, were dry and not very tasty. The gravy is similar to what you'd find on a grocery store shelf, just add water and heat it up.

Overall there needs to be an effort made to cook the chicken to the correct temperature and get the exterior crispy without drying out the chicken. If there's no guidance from the original recipe then some experimentation is required to find what works. You can find tutorials on YouTube that produce better chicken for a fraction of the cost. Even a bag of frozen fries would turn out better at home than what I had here.
