Philthy Philly's Cheesesteak and Poutinerie — Restaurant in Milton

Food was okay, I came here last night just before 1am with my boyfriend & ordered 2 cheesesteaks with poutine. Fries were cold , cheesesteaks was good. The reason why I’m giving it two stars is because we had to wait a bit longer for someone to serve us at the front, the young man came from the back & it seemed like he was cleaning the back. It was a young man with glasses who seems to be working by himself… after cooking the meat on the stove he cleaned and used a dirty towel to wipe the grill then proceeded to put our condiments on our food. I asked him if he could change his gloves as he’s using the same gloves to clean & to touch our bare food. before he did he tried to explain to me that the gloves are clean and didn’t need to be changed. After going back & forth and explaining that what he’s doing is cross contamination touching the grill and touching the dirty towel to clean the grill that I see is clearly black and dirty and THEN proceeding to touch the lettuce, onions, tomatoes etc with the SAME GLOVE he use to clean he decided to change his gloves. Please teach your new workers about cross contamination and to be more sanitary . If customers ask to change your gloves...

These guys don't seem to be able to follow simple instructions. Ordered 3 subs through Uber Eats. Large ("philthy") and 2 medium ("regular"). In the Uber order you, of course, choose what you want on each sub. You'd think it's pretty easy to follow...it looks well laid out on the website when you review your order. But apparently not. The first medium sub was provided per spec. The other two, though...the large had the sauce and mushrooms supposed to go on the second medium. The second medium had the tomatoes and lettuce supposed to go on the large. You'd think, well, maybe they just got the large/2nd medium toppings mixed up...but no...the jalapenos on the medium were still there. Just a complete mess-up. So my $18 (!) large sub was basically inedible...I hate sauce...and I hate jalapenos, so didn't want the medium either. The dogs ate well tonight. I tried calling to complain and get some resolution...but no answer. I'm supposed to spend my night following up on my ruined dinner? No thanks, better things to do. Like write this review. My son said his sub (the only properly made one) was pretty good, for the record. So presumably the food's ok...when they...

As a frequent patron of Philthy Phillys, I was excited to order from them again after a few months. However, I must say that my recent experience left much to be desired.

Typically, I thoroughly enjoy their poutine, but this time, it just didn't have the same ring and taste to it. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that they seemed to have cheaped out on the gravy, as there was barely any! The second item, the Rocky Balboa sandwich, was incredibly saucy to the point where it was falling apart.

While I understand that businesses may make changes over time, I was disappointed to see a decrease in the quality of one of my favorite menu items. There is definitely room for improvement, especially considering the price point. I hope that Philthy Phillys takes customer feedback into consideration and returns to the high standards that I have come to...
