McDonald's — Restaurant in Miramichi

They are ok but not consistent. One time tastes fine and next fairly bland. Seems like many fast food places have gone downhill since pandemic. Maybe they are cutting back too much due to inflation/shortages and it's affecting the quality of the products.

The only way I can get a big Mac that is similar (still thinner patty) is to order with extra toppings and sauce. Otherwise it's basically a mostly plain bun with barely any toppings and less than 1/4 of bun has sauce.

Get the extra toppings and sauce to get proper burger now.

Large fries is also smaller now, but they've been getting smaller for years. Large fries in 90s was 2.5 times size of large now. You could get full just on a large fry! Not anymore... Shrinkflation..:(

But everywhere is doing it so can't ding them on that.

I will ding them on the dry buns, next to no toppings and very thin patty as all take away from the flavor leaving it very bland unless you order extra toppings and sauce.

Place itself is standard McDonald's. Seems clean, quiet and friendly enough. Though really with the automated kiosks there's no actual contact with anyone other than to hand you the food.

I do like the kiosks as I can customize my order faster and better, but it does takeaway from the human interaction side. To be fair having worked customer service that is probably better for the employees. Lol

Doesn't affect my rating though .. just the severe drop in food flavor and quality over...

Well first of all, at that McDonald its a hit or miss with your food order, dont ever go at night cause i went late at night, i told rhem i wanted fresh cook food/ fries , when got my fries, half soggy and half cook and so i went back in the drivethru and ask him again fresh dries, he tried to tell me they were fresh, wish i know they were not and i ask him to cook them crispy, he cook them crispy alright, this time they were so dark brown overcooked and hard to bite that my 2 kids didn't even want to eat rhem, i told him your grease must probably have to be change then..plus several of times i order and the McDonald app was down and i couldn't get my points, and the girl in the McDonald told me to call the 1800 number with my receipt and they would fix my points and order, its been over a month and no one ever replied to me, so actually i might just get back to them this week very upset with my references number they gave me and explain to me why no one ever return an email or call to me...Very bad...

Absolutely disgusted with the attitude of the night manager. did not get his name but last night around 11:00 me and my husband came back to mcdonalds in miramichi to tell them we did not get our full order after he had driven all the way home and payed over $40, so they said to pull up and we asked if they could remake our food as it was now cold. the manager started to YELL AT MY HUSBAND out the drive thru window saying “you should have ate it, heres the rest of your meal” refusing to even acknowledge his mistake. we argued for a good 5 minutes until he told us to pull up to number one with an attitude. it is called customer service for a reason. now im not a karen but this is absolutely disgusting and i hope that no one else has to deal with him. mcdonalds watch who you hire, especially in a small town like miramichi where word travels about rude people....
