Update February 2025: it's been perfect every time and I've lived here 3 years going almost weekly, any bad reviews are BS or someone with no sense lol! Tuesday date night thali with 2 meat 2 veg is the best date option in the province at under $40 for a FEAST! Absolutely perfect meal! Service was great (Give Linh a raise, she made the evening truly special!) with very friendly and attentive staff. Spice levels and food quality were top notch, and the prices were pretty darn good too. My fiance and I will definitely be back as often as possible. Especially for the tandoori prawns and Shahi paneer, which were perfectly delicious. A second visit has proven this is the best restaurant in town in my opinion, a flawless night out again as shown in the second picture. Edit: we've been back too many times to count, their date night special is a great deal and perfect for people who like variety. Our experience has been perfect here no less than 25 times, I have a hard time believing any bad reviews weren't fake or personal issues lol!

Extremely Disappointed – Vegetarian Meal Came with Meat! I had the worst experience at Namaste Bistro recently. Being a strict vegetarian, I carefully ordered a veg poutine, making sure to specify that I wanted no meat. To my surprise, when the food arrived, it was a chicken poutine! I was horrified because I haven't eaten meat my entire life, and the restaurant's careless mistake completely ruined my meal. If you're a vegetarian or have any dietary restrictions, I strongly advise staying away from this place. They clearly do not care about respecting their customers' food preferences or providing good service.

A good place for lunch or dinner with a diverse menu. We ordered cheese naan bread, and they were delicious, hot, and you could eat them endlessly. We also ordered chicken pieces and shrimps, and they are served with a choice of salad, naan bread or rice. Additionally, we tried their signature ice cream, which was incredibly tasty. The interior matches the theme of the menu, with a modern style and golden accents. It creates a very cozy atmosphere. The only thing is that the women's restroom seems to be out of place. In one of the stalls, they even hung a picture of Paris 😅

If the irresistible aroma doesn't make your mouth water, the mixes of spicy, rich, and flavourful ingredients will certainly overwhelm your palate at the Namaste Bistro.

I'm not an adventurous eater, but after trying a few dishes - I was undeniably hooked. We tried the Mango Chicken Curry, Coconut Chicken Curry, and Beef Masala, along with Cheese Naan and Veggie Stuffed Naan. Everything was so out of this world succulent, and available in different heat levels - from Mild to Extra Hot. If you're not a spicy fan - don't worry, the Mild will treat you just fine.

The physical restaurant itself has been remarkably transformed from the former restaurant that previously occupied this space. Tastefully decorated with a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere and soothing Indian music playing in the background, it's a place you won't want to leave. I love that you can see inside the kitchen itself but you can't hear any of the activity inside. Miramichi is privileged to have such a wonderful and diverse food option available.

The only issue i had was their menu is so extensive that you have trouble picking just one dish. I look forward to trying their seafood offerings next time. Sounds yummy!!!

Sizes look small when they get to your table but don't underestimate the rich and powerful flavour of Indian food - trust me, you probably won't leave hungry. But if you are still a wee famished and need to satisfy that sweet tooth, would definitely recommend their Gulab Jamun dessert. A great end to a perfect meal.

I think you and your family will be just as impressed as I was. And if dine-in is not your style, they have awesome take-out options. Even Gluten or Lactose -free and Vegan eaters will rejoice at their abundance of tasty offerings.

The wait to try this place was definitely worth it. Highly recommend and can't wait to try...

This review is in response to a couple of people below, who gave bad reviews based only on the fact that they could not be seated without a reservation.

As a regular customer at this restaurant, I have to point out to these people that this is a small restaurant and this is the busiest weekend of the year in Miramichi. The exhibition and Irish Festival are both going on, which brings many visitors and home-comers.

It is just stupid and childish to complain and review-bomb a restaurant just because you were not organized enough to pick up a phone a make a reservation. Obviously, the staff would seat you if they had available tables. It is a business after all. But they cannot seat you if the tables have been reserved by other customers who planned ahead.

Personally, if I really want to eat at a particular restaurant, I make a reservation. If I walk up, I expect that there is a chance I cannot be seated. I cannot imagine being so entitled and (frankly) dumb to complain about a business being unable to accommodate me if I didn’t do the bare minimum to reserve a space. Why on earth would you take this personally?

The staff at Namaste are unfailingly polite, nice, and good at their jobs. They do not deserve these complaints from people who were apparently too lazy to take one step to ensure a seat at...
